“Self-care is not selfish; it’s the greatest thing you can do for your family, your friends and your coworkers.” - Christina Flach  This Real Talk highlights the importance of stepping into the Uncomfortable Place, the balance between discipline and self-care, and nurturing gratitude in all things.   I was joined by the fabulous Christina Flach - Creator and CEO of Pretty Girl Makeup and Celebrity Make-Up Artist.    Christina’s positive energy is contagious. She shares about the power of gratitude, and how it’s a perspective we get to intentionally choose, instead of just a fleeting feeling we simply stumble upon.   “Happiness is a choice,” she mentions, highlighting that we have agency over our circumstances, and the discipline of focusing on the good is a habit we all need to build.   One of the most heartwarming parts of this conversation is how Christina got involved with makeup. It started with helping her mother, who was fighting stage 4 brain cancer, out with her makeup before a date with her father.
