06.16.22: Katherine Hayes Rodriguez Receives PSIA-AASI’s Distinguished Service Award

First Chair catches up with Katherine Hayes Rodriguez, who was recently honored with the Distinguished Service Award. This award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to support the success of PSIA-AASI and its members. Katherine’s long-term commitment and dedication to adaptive snowsports has provided educational programing and support to national initiatives. Since serving as one of the original examiners in the initial 1985 adaptive exam and writing the first PSIA-AASI adaptive manual, she has continued to demonstrate positive leadership skills and foster connections with and between members, including serving as a mentor.
