Rémi is a film director who created what I would call one of the most influential Bitcoin films ever created. 'The Satoshi Mystery' has been viewed officially more than 8 million times. It's a 6 part film series which, in my opinion explains the 'why?' of bitcoin incredibly well using interviews and documentary footage and a narrative revealed by an animated Satoshi Nakamoto character, the pseudonymous creator of Bitcoin. I spoke with Remi at the Bitcoin Film Festival in Poland and we go into the importance of the cypherpunk origins of Bitcoin and why it is one of the most significant tools for freedom in these current times of burgeoning states, oppressive central bank digital currencies and social credit scores.
