Temptation is all about repeating patterns of sin, and Satan is very good at exploiting your patterns of behavior. That’s why Jesus says in the Sermon on the Mount that if something is causing you to sin, you should cut it out of your life. Pastor Jeff reminds you today that your own human strength is limited, and that if you are regularly putting yourself in situations where you are easily tempted, you may not always be able to resist the devil. You need to learn to give temptation a wide berth.
