Gerry Day is the State Forester and Deputy Supervisor for Wildfire for the state of Washington's Department of Natural Resources, a position he's held since 2017. Gerry is responsible for forest health and wildland fire programs in the department as well as preparing and suppressing wildfires, fire training, and firefighting aviation operations.
