Sam Norris thought he was applying for a stockbroker role and turned up for the group interview. It was a miscommunication with a recruitment consultant as the role was actually for a mortgage broker. Honesty paid off though as Sam explained the situation and they offered him the role on the spot. A new career path was forged. 13 years since qualifying as a mortgage broker, Sam has just launched his own business, Grand Union Finance.
