08. Small Talk ft Annika Khosla and Aditi Boddu: Friendships and Emotional Burnout

from Bamble Ramble · host Sanya Mahajan

This is the first episode of the small talk series, in which I will be discussing current issues and more with some of my friends, keeping it more of a discussion than an interview! In this episode, we discuss the impact remote learning and the pandemic have had on our friendships and relationships with others. Later on, we also discuss our takeaways and things we've learned, such as the importance of letting go of toxic relationships and moving on. We also cover the idea of gossip and confrontation, because as teenagers it's something we have experience with :-). Enjoy! Note: Nothing in this episode is professional advice, simply advice from the perspective of teenagers. Please keep this in mind as you listen to the episode :-).   For any feedback or questions, check out bambleramblepodcast on Instagram.  https://www.instagram.com/bambleramblepodcast/?igshid=3ots7krsiuvb

Ramblings BBC Radio 4 Clare Balding and guests share inspiring conversations while walking in the great outdoors.Fresh air and nature, wonderful views and uplifting chat, each week Clare hikes in a different part of our glorious countryside. Walking side by side is the perfect way to cover a huge range of subjects: literature, art, wildlife, nature, taking on personal or physical challenges, dealing with grief, confronting preconceptions about the kind of people who love to ramble. The conversations are as varied as the landscapes we find ourselves in. If there's a recurring theme, it's the accepted truth that 'solvitur ambulando' - 'it is solved through walking': The sense of wellness, the benefits to mental health, easy companionship, or sometimes just the sense of solitude that being alone in nature brings.Few things are better than going for a good walk. That's what we aim to share each week on Ramblings with Clare Balding. Modern Dadhood | Unpacking Fatherhood + Parenting for Dads (and Moms!) Adam Flaherty, Marc Checket Adam Flaherty and Marc Checket are two dads from suburban New England. And while they might think they’re pretty funny and cool, the world clearly does NOT need another white dude ramble-cast. That’s why Modern Dadhood explores what it really means to be a "dad" in 2024 through candid, authentic, and often hilarious conversations with diverse dads of all walks of life… including famous dads, NOT famous dads, dads-to-be, step dads, grand dads, trans dads, and more. By celebrating present, engaged parenting and commiserating over common fatherhood challenges, listeners will gain new perspectives and feel empowered to become more present and mindful fathers, raising the next generation of kick-ass, world changing kids. Expect a mix of humor, heart, and 90s nostalgia in each episode. Modern Dadhood is a 2025 Signal Award winner, including the Gold award in the category Family & Child-Raising!#moderndadhood #fatherhood #parenting #dadding #dadpodcast #parentingpodcast
