082: Success & Fear With Giovanni Scott

from PRA Podcast · host Sam IV

Giovanni Scott Wasn't sure where he would end up when he joined the army. He hadn't had his parents there to guide him, and he had a lot on his shoulders. Through all of the doubt and unknown however he managed to overcome and change his mindset from depressed and isolated, to completely joyous and abundant. He became a recruiter and never had time for himself, which I'm sure we could all relate to, but he didn't let that stop him. Instead he changed his way of thinking by asking himself one question(What Is Success?)... And realizing one more thing he had to overcome.(Fear).... So I Ask You? What Is Success?   What is your idea of success? Is it work-life balance, money, freedom, impact, followers, to be number one at a video game? Whatever it is you need to identify what this looks and feels like. What is it you want? This is hard for most people because most people, of course, want everything. The difference though see between you and the successful page you are browsing is they only want one thing, and everything else becomes simply a byproduct. ... And what is on the other side offear? Well he definitely answers that through everything he's been through. He truly is the epitome is never giving in and constantly developing a growth mindset in the midst of all of the chaos.
