from The Millennial Nutritionist · host Illa Garcia, MS, RDN

Charcoal water is said to balance the pH in your stomach, but we need our stomachs to be acidic to help digest our food and fight bacteria. Charcoal water is sometimes used for overdose patients in hospitals. Our body does need electrolytes, but the only time you need to focus on increasing your electrolyte intake is if you are suffering from severe dehydration or are struggling to keep liquids down, in which case you should probably head to urgent care or the hospital.   Hi!
