1/21/26: God Makes the Weak Victorious

Wednesday Mass. 1.21.26.  In today’s homily, I reflect on Saint Agnes and David and Goliath, and how God often chooses the ones the world thinks are too small or too weak. David wasn’t strong on his own—but he was strong because God was with him. And Saint Agnes, even at just 12 years old, showed the kind of courage and faith that can only come from the Lord. If you’ve ever asked, “Why won’t God just take away my weakness?” this homily is a reminder that God can use your struggles to teach you how to rely on Him—and to become truly great in His eyes.
