Als we reclame's van alcoholische dranken mogen geloven zit er achter elke slok een eeuwenlange geschiedenis van tradities, rituelen en mythes. Maar schuilt er achter deze marketingcampagne's daadwerkelijk zo'n sprookjesachtig verleden? Of dronken we vroeger bier, wijn en jenever om hele andere redenen dan ons worden voorgeschoteld? In deze aflevering lopen we langs de geschiedenis van alcohol.
