1 dead, 1 injured in separate Philly shootings

Two men were shot, one fatally, in separate shootings throughout the city. It was just after 10 p.m. Saturday when police responded to a call of a shooting inside the park along North Second Street in Hunting Park. Officers found a 45-year-old man with several gunshot wounds to his torso. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Hours later, in South Philly, police say an 18-year-old man was shot in the thigh just after 2:30 a.m. The teen told officers he was shot near Front Street and Packer Avenue, but later said he could not remember exactly where it happened.
