1 Peter 1:1-2: An Introduction

This week we begin a new series. Peter was not only one of the 12 disciples personally called by Jesus, he was also a part of the inner circle of 3 (along with James and John). Peter enjoyed an intimacy and a fellowship with Jesus that not many others did. Peter begins this letter by stating his position an apostle of Jesus Christ and also stating who he is writing to.
