【１ Samuel 4:3】

「And when the people had come into the camp, the elders of Israel said, "Why has the Lord defeated us today before the Philistines? Let us bring the ark of the covenant of the Lord from Shiloh to us, that when it comes among us it may save us from the hand of our enemies."」 Amen. Israel was defeated by the Philistines. So they brought the ark of God to the battlefield. But they lost the battle, the ark was captured, the two sons of the priest Eli were killed in action, and upon hearing the news, Eli himself also died. Despite bringing the ark of God, the outcome was disastrous. Becoming overly fixated on the physical form of the Ark of the Covenant alone can lead to terrible consequences. What truly matters is how we pour out our hearts in our relationship with God. May we pour out our hearts before the Lord today as well... God bless you. See you tomorrow.
