「And those twelve stones which they took out of the Jordan, 　Joshua set up in Gilgal.」　　Amen. 　When the people of Israel crossed the Jordan River, the waters stood back as a dam the moment the soles of the priests carrying the Ark of the Covenant touched the water. To commemorate this, they took twelve stones from the Jordan and piled them up at Gilgal as a memorial monument. This was to inform future generations of this event. Jesus' cross also serves as a daily reminder that we have been saved.　 　May we give thanks for Jesus' cross today as well...　God bless you.   See you tomorrow.

『ヨシュアは、ヨルダン川から取った　あの十二の石をギルガルに積み上げ、』 　イスラエルの民がヨルダン川を渡った時に、契約の箱を担いだ祭司の足の裏が水の中に入ったと同時に川の水が堰となって立った。そのことを記念として、ヨルダン川の石を12個取って、ギルガルに積み上げて記念の石塔としたのでした。後世の人々に、この出来事を知らせるためでした。イエス様の十字架も、私たちが救われた事を日々思い出させるものなのです。　 　今日も、イエス様の十字架に感謝できますように・・・。　　　

「"And it shall come to pass, 　as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests 　who bear the ark of the Lord, 　the Lord of all the earth, 　shall rest in the waters of the Jordan, 　that the waters of the Jordan shall be cut off, 　the waters that come down from upstream, 　and they shall stand as a heap."」　　Amen. 　At the Reed Sea, when Moses stretched out his staff, the sea parted. At the Jordan River, when the soles of the priests carrying the ark of the Lord touched the water, the Jordan's waters stood still. The first time, a miracle happened just by praying; the second time, a miracle happened when they took a step forward. Either way, blessings await those who continue to follow the Lord. (Isaiah 43:2）｢When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned,Nor shall the flame scorch you.｣ 　May we receive the Lord's blessing today as well...　God bless you.   See you tomorrow.

『全地の主である【主】の箱を担ぐ祭司たちの足の裏が、　ヨルダン川の水の中にとどまるとき、ヨルダン川の水は、　川上から流れ下る水がせき止められ、　一つの堰となって立ち止まる。」』 　葦の海の時は、モーセが杖を前に向けたら海が分かれました。ヨルダン川の時は、主の箱をかつぐ祭司たちの足の裏が水の中に入るとヨルダン川の堰が立ったのです。最初の時は祈るだけで奇跡が、二番目の時は一歩踏み出すと奇跡が起こりました。いずれにしても、主に従い続けると祝福が待っているのです。「イザ43:2 あなたが水の中を過ぎるときも、わたしは、あなたとともにいる。川を渡るときも、あなたは押し流されず、火の中を歩いても、あなたは焼かれず、炎はあなたに燃えつかない。」 　今日も、主の祝福に与かることができますように・・・。

『3:18 しかし、たとえそうでなくても、王よ、ご承知ください。私たちはあなたの神々には仕えず、あなたが建てた金の像を拝むこともしません。』人生幸福に暮らすことも大事ですが、もっと大切な事は「永遠」ではないでしょうか。死後の世界は永遠に続くんです。そこをどこで過ごすかっていうことは、ものすごく重要なことです。そして、その決断は生きている間にしなければなりません。私たちは自分がいつ死ぬかさえ分からない人間なんです。イエス様は私たちの罪を背負って身代わりに十字架上で死なれた。確かに墓に葬られた。しかし、復活して今も生きておられる。このことを今信じて下されば、この「パラダイス」に行くことができるのです。 お祈りします。　愛する天のお父さま、み名を崇め感謝します。あなたは良き神様ですから、私たちが死んだ後も、「慰めの場所」を備えてくださって感謝します。そして、そこに住まわせてくださり、永遠にあなたと共に暮らすことができるようにしてくださって、感謝します。私たちの愛する人々がたくさんその場所で住むことができますようにお導き願います。この祈りを主イエス・キリストのお名前によってお祈り致します。　アーメン。    

『私たちは愛しています。神がまず私たちを愛してくださったからです。』「愛には恐れがありません。全き愛は恐れを締め出します。」と聖書の中に書かれていますが、私たちが人生を歩んでいくと、どんなに聖い中を歩んでいても汚れがつくものです。船が一航海すると、錆がついてきます。錆を落とし、整備点検しなければなりません。放っておくと錆から船に穴が開いてしまいます。そこから水が侵入し沈没してしまうのです。そうならない為に、常日頃の点検が必要です。私たちの思い、考えの整備点検、夢とビジョンの整備点検、聞く耳の整備点検、言葉の整備点検をしなければなりません。そうすることによって、安心して、恐れなく、この世を航海できるのです。皆さんの人生の航海が主に守られますように祝福致します。 　お祈り致します。愛する天のお父様、み名を崇め感謝します。あなたの限りない大いなる愛を感謝します。御ひとり子なるイエス様をこの世におつかわしになるほどに私たちを愛してくださってありがとうございます。あなたの愛を知れば知るほ恐れがなくなりますからありがとうございます。しかしながら、日々の生活の中で恐れを生じさせる出来事が起きることがあります。その時々において自分を吟味することができますようにお導き願います。この祈りを主イエス・キリストのお名前によってお祈り致します。アーメン。

「"Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses.」　　Amen. 　Today we begin the Book of Joshua. The charismatic leader Moses was called to heaven, and his successor, Joshua, was appointed. This marks the beginning of a new era in the land of Canaan. As God had promised to Moses, He also promised Joshua, “Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you,” Joshua is a type of Jesus, who leads the people to the promised land. The Hebrew name Joshua is the Greek name Jesus. 　May we continue to walk in the path of the Lord's promise today...God bless you.   See you tomorrow.

『レビについては、こう言った。　「あなたのトンミムとウリムを、　あなたにある敬虔な者に与えてください。　あなたは彼をマサで試み、　メリバの水のほとりで彼と争われました。』 　　ここには、神の人モーセが臨終にあたって各部族になした祝福が記録されています。ヤコブも創世記49章で預言していました。ただ、今回はシメオン族に関する言及がないのですが、理由は不明です。やがてユダ族に吸収されるという説もあります。ヤコブの時には、呪われよと預言されていましたが、ここでは、祝福豊かに語られています。若き日のあやまちもだんだんと聖化され、輝きだしてくるのです。 　今日も、主と共に歩むことができますように・・・。

『14:26 「わたしのもとに来て、自分の父、母、妻、子、兄弟、姉妹、さらに自分のいのちまでも憎まないなら、わたしの弟子になることはできません。14:27 自分の十字架を負ってわたしについて来ない者は、わたしの弟子になることはできません。』お祈りします。愛する天のお父様、み名を崇め感謝します。今日は、弟子の道を学ぶことができ感謝します。弟子の道とは、利己主義を憎むこと、自分の十字架を負うこと、赦しを実践する生活であることを学びました。これを実践するには、なかなか難しいものがありますが、聖霊様に拠り頼んで、実践出来ますように、お導き願います。私たちがいつでもどこでも、信仰の創始者であり、完成者なるイエス様から目を離すことなく過せますようにお助け願います。今日の礼拝を感謝し、主イエス・キリストのお名前によってお祈り致します。アーメン。

「As an eagle stirs up its nest,Hovers over its young,　Spreading out its wings, taking them up,　Carrying them on its wings,」　　Amen. 　Moses led the people through the wilderness for 40 years. It was as if a mother eagle were guiding her chicks. He found them in the barren wasteland, embraced them, cared for them, and protected them as if they were his own eyes. Our lives may also resemble a wilderness. When we are left with nothing, our families are shattered, all our plans have failed, and we are at a loss, we can only look up to heaven. But there, in the freedom of heaven, is Jesus, who gazes upon us with love.   　May you spend today under the Lord's protection...God bless you.   See you tomorrow.

『鷲が巣のひなを呼び覚まし、そのひなの上を舞い、　翼を広げてこれを取り、羽に乗せて行くように。』 　モーセは民を40年間荒野で導きました。それは、まるで母鷲が雛を導くようでした。荒涼とした荒れ地で彼を見つけ、これを抱き、世話をし、ご自分の瞳のように守られたのです。私たちの人生も荒野のようかもしれません。無一文となり、家庭は崩壊し、あらゆる計画は挫折し、途方に暮れた時に、天を見上げるしかないのです。しかし、そこには、天翔ける自由が、愛の眼差しのイエス様がおられるのです。 　今日も、主の守りの中で過ごされますように・・・。

「Then Moses called Joshua 　and said to him in the sight of all Israel, 　"Be strong and of good courage, 　for you must go with this people to the land 　which the Lord has sworn to their fathers to give them, 　and you shall cause them to inherit it.」　　Amen. Once upon a time, Moses, the infant abandoned on the Nile River, was now 120 years old. He was delivering his farewell sermon. Though Moses had guided the people up to that point, he was unable to enter the land of Canaan. He spoke to Joshua, Caleb, and the younger generation who would enter Canaan. Especially to Joshua, whom he had designated as his successor, he encouraged him, saying, “Be strong and of good courage” 　May we all live strongly and courageously today...God bless you.   See you tomorrow. 

『それからモーセはヨシュアを呼び寄せ、　全イスラエルの目の前で彼に言った。　「強くあれ。雄々しくあれ。　【主】がこの民の父祖たちに与えると誓われた地に、　彼らとともに入るのはあなたであり、　それを彼らに受け継がせるのもあなたである。』 　かつて、ナイル川に捨てられた赤子モーセも、今や120歳になっていました。そして、告別説教を語っていたのです。今まで民を導いてきたモーセでしたが、カナンの地へは入ることができませんでした。ヨシュアとカレブ、そしてカナンに入る若い世代の人々に語るのです。特に、後継者として指名したヨシュアには、「強くあれ、雄々しくあれ」と励ますのです。 　今日も、強く雄々しく過す事ができますように・・・。

「"And the Lord your God will circumcise your heart 　and the heart of your descendants, 　to love the Lord your God with all your heart 　and with all your soul, that you may live.」　　Amen. 　The Book of Amos says, "the prudent keep silent at that time." I am not talking about those who have nothing in their hearts that they cannot speak, but those who have many thoughts and yet keep silence. They have keen discernment. Especially in the spirit, that discernment is required. For this, we need to pray for them on a regular basis. Whenever a disturbing event occurs, take a deep breath, look up, and pray before you do anything, and you will get a good result. 　May we pray to the Lord today....God bless you.   See you next week. 

『あなたがたはこの契約のことばを守り、　それを行いなさい。　あなたがたのすることがすべて栄えるためである。』 　神様との契約は、遵守事項を守れば祝福が与えられ、守らなければ呪いが待っているというものでした。モーセは語ります。「私は四十年の間、荒野であなたがたを導いたが、あなたがたが身に着けている上着はすり切れず、その履き物もすり切れなかった。あなたがたはパンも食べず、ぶどう酒も強い酒も飲まなかった。それは、「わたしがあなたがたの神、【主】である」と、あなたがたが知るためであった。」しかし、守れないのが人間の弱さでもあるのです。結局、カナンの地へは、ヨシュアとカレブ以外は入れなかったのです。 　今日も、主の守りの中で過されますように・・・。　　

『14:15 【主】はモーセに言われた。「なぜ、あなたはわたしに向かって叫ぶのか。イスラエルの子らに、前進するように言え。14:16 あなたは、あなたの杖を上げ、あなたの手を海の上に伸ばし、海を分けなさい。そうすれば、イスラエルの子らは海の真ん中の乾いた地面を行くことができる。14:17 見よ、このわたしがエジプト人の心を頑なにする。彼らは後から入って来る。わたしはファラオとその全軍勢、戦車と騎兵によって、わたしの栄光を現す。14:18 ファラオとその戦車とその騎兵によって、わたしが栄光を現すとき、エジプトは、わたしが【主】であることを知る。」』神の栄光とは神様が神様であることを現わされることであり、また、神様が神であることを知ることです。危機と問題を神様が作られます。そのことも知っておく必要があります。しっかり立って神様の栄光を見ることです。神様の栄光が下ってこないのに私たちが勝手に動くと後で疲れはてて倒れてしまいます。だから神様から力が来るまで私たちはまず座ることです。神様の栄光を見ることです。そして、神様の栄光は早天に現われました。早天の祈りで力を戴くことです。すると、祝福が待っているのです。 　お祈りします。　愛する天のお父様、み名を崇め感謝します。危機も問題も神様からやってくるのです。でも、その時に、しっかりと力を蓄え、早天の祈りでもっと力を戴き、神の栄光を見ることができますようにお導き願います。どんな状況の中にあっても、信仰の創始者であり、完成者なるイエス様から、目を離すことなく、祈り続ける事ができますようにお助け願います。今日の礼拝を感謝し、主イエス・キリストのお名前によって、お祈り致します。アーメン。 

「"Therefore keep the words of this covenant, 　and do them, that you may prosper in all that you do.」　　 　The covenant with God was that if you kept the observances, you would receive blessings, and if you did not, curses awaited you. Moses tells us, "And I have led you forty years in the wilderness. Your clothes have not worn out on you, and your sandals have not worn out on your feet.You have not eaten bread, nor have you drunk wine or similar drink, that you may know that I am the Lord your God." But it is also human weakness that prevents us from protecting them. After all, no one but Joshua and Caleb could enter the land of Canaan. 　May you live in the Lord's protection today....　　 　God bless you.   See you tomorrow.

「"And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, 　because you obey the voice of the Lord your God:」　　Amen. 　What blessings await us are described in the next and following verses. "Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country. Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks. Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl.Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.Blessed are you in the city, and blessed are you in the field." Blessings accompany everything, everywhere and at all times. But if you don't obey, the curse will come. That is the covenant we have made with God. 　May we be blessed by the Lord today....　God bless you.   See you tomorrow.

『あなたが、あなたの神、【主】の御声に聞き従うので、　次のすべての祝福があなたに臨み、あなたについて行く。』 　どんな祝福が待っているのか、次節以降に書かれてあります。「あなたは町にあっても祝福され、野にあっても祝福される。あなたの胎の実も大地の実りも、家畜が産むもの、群れの中の子牛も群れの中の子羊も祝福される。あなたのかごも、こね鉢も祝福される。あなたは入るときにも祝福され、出て行くときにも祝福される。」いつでも、どこでも、何にでも、祝福が伴うというのです。しかし、従わないと呪いがやってくるというのです。それが神と結んだ契約なのです。 　今日も、主の祝福に与かることができますように・・・。　 

「"And there you shall build 　an altar to the Lord your God, 　an altar of stones; 　you shall not use an iron tool on them.」　　Amen. 　Why did it have to be natural, unchiseled stone? This was to prevent idolatry and to avoid drawing attention to the altar itself rather than to the Lord Himself. If someone chiseled and built a magnificent altar, people would inevitably be interested in the person who chiseled it and their skill. Prayers and sermons simply point to the rough-hewn image of Jesus on the cross, and there is no need for eloquence, flowery rhetoric, or sophisticated techniques. 　May we keep our eyes on Jesus of the Cross today....God bless you.   See you tomorrow. 

『そこに、あなたの神、【主】のために祭壇を、　石の祭壇を築きなさい。　それには鉄の道具を当ててはならない。』 　なぜ、のみを当てない自然の石でなければならないのだろうか。それは、偶像礼拝を防ぐため、主ご自身よりも、祭壇そのものに関心が集まることを避けたのです。誰かがのみを当て、立派に祭壇を造ってしまうと、どうしても、のみを当てた人やその人の技巧に関心を寄せがちです。祈りも説教も、荒削りの十字架のイエス様を指し示すのみで、巧言令色も美辞麗句も高等技巧もいらないのです。　 　今日も、十字架のイエス様に目を留めることができますように・・・。 

「"So you shall rejoice in every good thing which 　the Lord your God has given to you and your house, 　you and the Levite and the stranger who is among you.」　　Amen. 　It is just as important to rejoice in God as it is to fear Him. I am relatively sympathetic to pessimistic events, but sometimes I am not as sympathetic as I should be to joyful events. It seems that I need to fully rejoice when I should rejoice. It says to rejoice in God's grace not only with oneself but also with one's neighbor. It is important to have the heart to take out the lyre and praise God even in the midst of disappointment like David. 　May today be another day of praising the Lord....God bless you.   See you tomorrow.

『あなたの神、　【主】があなたとあなたの家に与えられたすべての恵みを、　あなたはレビ人および、　あなたがたのうちの寄留者とともに喜びなさい。』 　神を畏れることと同じように神を喜ぶことも重要な事です。悲観的な出来事に関しては比較的に共感できるのですが、喜ぶべき出来事に関しては、全面的に共感できるかと言えば、そうではない自分がいる時もあります。喜ぶべき時には、十分に喜ぶ必要があるようです。神の恵みを自分だけではなく隣人と共に喜びなさいと書かれてあります。ダビデのように失意の中でも竪琴を取り出して神を賛美する心が重要ですね。 　今日も、主を賛美する一日となりますように・・。　

「"You shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain.」　　Amen. 　There is one compassion for animals. It is that the cow that patiently walks around the mill should be given the freedom to eat. It is a consideration for a creature that cannot defend itself and cannot speak silently no matter how unfairly it is treated. From this passage, Paul reminds us to care for our spiritual teachers. 　May we pray for spiritual leaders today....　God bless you.   See you tomorrow. 

『脱穀をしている牛に口籠をはめてはならない。』 　動物に対する一つの思いやりがあります。それは、臼の周りを辛抱強く歩く牛には食べる自由を与えよというものです。自分を弁護することもできず、いかに不当な扱いを受けても黙々と物も言えぬ生き物に対する配慮なのです。この箇所からパウロは、霊的な教師の為に配慮することを思い起こさせています。 　今日も、霊的な指導者の為に祈ることができますように・・・。　 

「"You shall stand outside, 　and the man to whom you lend shall bring the pledge out to you.」　　Amen. 　What is being developed here is a deep compassion for the weak. For example, it says that newlyweds shall be exempted from military service, and that severe punishment shall be given to kidnappers, daily wages shall be given to hired hands, and sheaves of wheat and ears of fruit shall be left for resident aliens and widows. And in this verse, it says that when you lend something to your neighbor, do not go into his house to get the collateral. It says to wait outside. God does not force you to come in, but waits for you at the door. 　May we notice the Lord's kindness today....　　God bless you.   See you next week.

『あなたは外に立っていなければならない。　あなたが貸そうとするその人が、　外にいるあなたのところに担保を持って出て来なければならない。』 　ここに展開されているのは、弱者に対する深い思いやりです。例えば、新婚早々の者の兵役免除、人さらいに対する厳罰、雇人への日給、麦束や果物の落穂は在留異国人やみなしごややもめたちの為に残しておくことなどが書かれてあります。そして、この節では、隣人に何かを貸す時は、担保を取りにその家に入ってはならない。外で待っていなさいと書かれてあるのです。神様は、無理に入ってくることはせずに、戸口に立って待たれておられるのです。 　今日も、主の優しさに気が付くことができますように・・・。　 

「"For the Lord your God walks in the midst of your camp, 　to deliver you and give your enemies over to you; 　therefore your camp shall be holy, 　that He may see no unclean thing among you, 　and turn away from you.」　　Amen. 　　If this is the Lord's battle, He is holy, so of course He must be holy in the battle and among those who fight. That is why the provision has been made. We have a battle to fight in this world. The forces that seek to separate us from God, the temptations of Satan, the devil comes in the form of an angel. We must never give the devil an opportunity. God comes and goes throughout our lives. We must refrain from clouding the face of God. 　May we live in accordance with the Lord's will today....God bless you.   See you tomorrow.　

『あなたの神、【主】が、あなたを救い出し、　敵をあなたに渡すために、　あなたの陣営の中を歩まれるからである。　こうして、あなたの陣営は聖でなければならない。　主があなたの中で恥ずべきものを見て、　あなたから離れ去ることのないようにしなさい。』 　これが主の戦いなら、主は聖ですから、当然、戦いの中でも、戦う人たちの中でも、聖でなければならない。だから、その規定が設けられているのです。私たちには、この世にあっては戦いがあります。神から引き離そうとする勢力、サタンの誘惑、悪魔は天使のような姿でやってきます。決して悪魔に機会を与えてはいけません。神様は、私たちの生活のすみずみまで行き来しておられるのです。神の御顔を曇らせることは慎んでいくことです。 　今日も、主のみ旨に適う生活ができますように・・・。　

『私は、私を強くしてくださる、私たちの主キリスト・イエスに感謝しています。キリストは私を忠実な者と認めて、この務めに任命してくださったからです。1:13 私は以前には、神を冒?する者、迫害する者、暴力をふるう者でした。しかし、信じていないときに知らないでしたことだったので、あわれみを受けました。1:14 私たちの主の恵みは、キリスト・イエスにある信仰と愛とともに満ちあふれました。1:15 「キリスト・イエスは罪人を救うために世に来られた」ということばは真実であり、そのまま受け入れるに値するものです。私はその罪人のかしらです。1:16 しかし、私はあわれみを受けました。それは、キリスト・イエスがこの上ない寛容をまず私に示し、私を、ご自分を信じて永遠のいのちを得ることになる人々の先例にするためでした。1:17 どうか、世々の王、すなわち、朽ちることなく、目に見えない唯一の神に、誉れと栄光が世々限りなくありますように。アーメン。』神様が私たちに与える計画は、良きものであり、その為に私たちを用いようとしているのです。私たちにはいろんな過去がつきまとっています。でも、私たちが悔い改めた時に、神様から愛され、神様から赦されるのであります。神様の国は赦された人々の集まりであります。私たちが赦されたその恵みを一つ一つ覚えながら神様に栄光を帰していくと豊かに人生が広がっていきます。神様は良き神様であります。祝福を与えようといつも待ち構えているのであります。 お祈りいたします。愛する天のお父様、み名を崇め感謝します。私たちは生まれてから今日までたくさんの罪を犯してきました。でも、イエス様を信じたことによってすべての罪が赦されましたから感謝します。そして、神様は、その罪を思いださないと言われますからありがとうございます。どうぞ神様の良き計画の中に私たちを用いて下さいますようにお願いします。この祈りを主イエス・キリストのお名前によってお祈りいたします。　　アーメン。 

「"When you build a new house, 　then you shall make a parapet for your roof, 　that you may not bring guilt of bloodshed 　on your household if anyone falls from it.」　　 Amen. 　It contains specific regulations. For example, if you see an ox, sheep, or ass wandering or fallen, you must help it. Also, if you see a mother bird with chicks or eggs, you must not take the mother bird with her young. And if you build a new house, it is written that you should put a railing on the roof. 『新しい家を建てるときは屋上に手すりを付けなさい。　だれかがそこから落ちても、　あなたの家が血の責任を負うことのないようにするためである。』 　具体的な規定が書かれてあります。例えば、牛や羊やろばなどが迷っていたり、倒れているのを見たら、助けなければならない。また、母鳥がひなや卵を抱いていたら、母鳥を子と一緒にとってはならない。そして、新しい家を建てたら屋上に手すりをつけなさいと書かれてあるのです。一家の主人は、自分だけの安全だけではなく、一番弱い人への配慮も欠かしてはならないと言われるのです。 　今日も、主の配慮に心を配ることができますように・・・。　

「"his body shall not remain overnight on the tree, 　but you shall surely bury him that day, 　so that you do not defile the land which the Lord 　your God is giving you as an inheritance; 　for he who is hanged is accursed of God.」　　Amen. 　It reminds us of the cross of Jesus. The sinless Jesus took our sinful place on the cross. He alone bore the curse of our sin. He gave Himself up to bless us. He died to make us stand before God. All died on the cross to make us alive forever. Let us remember this always and everywhere, praying as we go through this life. 『その死体を次の日まで木に残しておいてはならない。　その日のうちに必ず埋葬しなければならない。　木にかけられた者は神にのろわれた者だからである。　あなたの神、【主】が相続地としてあなたに　与えようとしておられる土地を汚してはならない。』 　イエス様の十字架を彷彿とさせます。罪なきイエス様が罪深き私たちの身代わりとなって十字架に架けられました。私たちの罪の呪いをお一人で背負われました。私たちを祝福するために自らは捨てられました。私たちを神の御前に立たせるために自らは死なれました。すべてが私たちを永遠に生かすための十字架の死でした。このことをいつでもどこでも覚え、祈りつつ、この世を過していきましょう。きっと祝福が与えられます。 　今日も、イエス様の十字架の愛を覚えることができますように・・・。

「"And he shall say to them, 'Hear, O Israel: 　Today you are on the verge of battle with your enemies.　Do not let your heart faint, do not be afraid, 　and do not tremble or be terrified because of them; 　'for the Lord your God is He who goes with you, 　to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.'」　 Amen. 　As a law for going into battle, it seems that those who had built a new house and had not yet dedicated it, those who had not yet finished the harvest, and those who were engaged to be married were exempt from military service. It also stipulated that those who were weak because of fear should return home. And when it came time to fight, it seems that the priests stepped forward to encourage and bless them. Jesus also said. 『彼らに言いなさい。　「聞け、イスラエルよ。　あなたがたは今日、敵との戦いに臨もうとしている。　弱気になってはならない。恐れてはならない。　うろたえてはならない。彼らのことでおののいてはならない。　あなたがたの神、【主】があなたがたとともに行って、　あなたがたのために敵と戦い、　あなたがたに勝利を得させてくださるからである。」』 　戦闘に臨む場合の律法として、家を新築してまだ捧げていない者、収穫が終わっていない者、婚約している者は、兵役を免除されていたようです。また、恐れて弱きになっている者も家に帰れと規定されています。そして、いざ、戦いの時には祭司が進み出て激励し、祝福したようです。イエス様も言われました。(マタ28:18)「わたしには天においても地においても、すべての権威が与えられています。・・・見よ。わたしは世の終わりまで、いつもあなたがたとともにいます。」　 　今日も、主のみ言葉に力を得る事ができますように・・・。 

「"then you shall do to him as he thought 　to have done to his brother; 　so you shall put away the evil from among you."」　　Amen. 　Severe punishment is commanded for those who do evil. (Deuteronomy 19:21) "Your eye shall not pity: life shall be for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot." In the book of Esther, a man named Haman found himself hanging on the gallows that he had erected to destroy Mordecai the Jew. God's hand of judgment was at work. 『あなたがたは、　彼がその同胞にしようと企んでいたとおりに彼に対して行い、　あなたがたの中からその悪い者を除き去りなさい。』 　悪事を働く者には、厳罰が命じられます。「申19:21 あわれみをかけてはならない。いのちにはいのちを、目には目を、歯には歯を、手には手を、足には足を。」エステル記の中では、ハマンという人物が、ユダヤ人モルデカイを滅ぼそうとして立てた絞首台に、自らが掛けられてしまいました。神の裁きの御手が働いたのです。神は、すべての事を見ておられるのです。 　今日も、主のご計画の一端を垣間見ることができますように・・・。　

「"So if a Levite comes from any of your gates, 　from where he dwells among all Israel, 　and comes with all the desire of his mind 　to the place which the Lord chooses,"」　Amen. 　It depicts a man living quietly in a mountain village far from the city, who is led by a mysterious divine calling to serve in God's tabernacle. The voice of God's call grew louder and louder in his heart, and he acted accordingly. Somewhere in the world there are people who are still walking toward where God wants them to be. 『もしレビ人が、自分が住んでいる、　イスラエル中のどの町囲みの中からでも出ることを望むなら、　【主】が選ばれる場所に望むままに行くことができる。』 　都を遠く離れた山村で静かに暮らしていたひとりの男が、不思議な神の召しによって、神の幕屋での奉仕に導き出される姿が描かれています。心の中で神の召しの声が次第に大きくなり、それに従って行動したのです。今も世界のどこかで神の望まれる場所に向かって歩み続ける人々がおられるのです。神様は良き神様なので、きっと祝福を備えていることでしょう。 　今日も、主の祝福に与ることができますように・・・。

『いつでも祈るべきで、失望してはいけないことを教えるために、イエスは弟子たちにたとえを話された。18:2 「ある町に、神を恐れず、人を人とも思わない裁判官がいた。18:3 その町に一人のやもめがいたが、彼のところにやって来ては、『私を訴える人をさばいて、私を守ってください』と言っていた。18:4 この裁判官はしばらく取り合わなかったが、後になって心の中で考えた。『私は神をも恐れず、人を人とも思わないが、18:5 このやもめは、うるさくて仕方がないから、彼女のために裁判をしてやることにしよう。そうでないと、ひっきりなしにやって来て、 私は疲れ果ててしまう。』」18:6 主は言われた。「不正な裁判官が言っていることを聞きなさい。18:7 まして神は、昼も夜も神に叫び求めている、選ばれた者たちのためにさばきを行わないで、いつまでも放っておかれることがあるでしょうか。18:8 あなたがたに言いますが、神は彼らのため、速やかにさばきを行ってくださいます。だが、人の子が来るとき、はたして地上に信仰が見られるでしょうか。」』お祈り致します。愛する天のお父様、み名を崇め感謝します。アブラハムが失望しないで祈り続けたように、望み得ない時に望みを抱いて信じたように、私たちにも、その信仰を与えて下さいますようにお願いします。神様の約束のみ言葉を握って、祈り続ける事ができますように、祈りを放棄することなく、継続して祈り続ける事が出来ますようにお助け願います。祈りの勇士として、国の指導者の為に、地域の為に、家族のために、隣人の為に、祈り続ける事ができますように、お導き願います。この祈りを主イエス・キリストのお名前によって、お祈り致します。アーメン。

「"And it shall be with him, 　and he shall read it all the days of his life, 　that he may learn to fear the Lord his God 　and be careful to observe all 　the words of this law and these statutes,"」　Amen. 　The people will eventually seek a king out of judgment. This article seems to foresee this. The higher one rises in status, the more exalted one becomes and the less humble one becomes. When you become a king, no one will say anything. That is why we need to fear God and keep and do His Word. The higher the position, the more necessary it is. 　May we listen to the Word of the Lord today....God bless you.   See you tomorrow.

『自分の手もとに置き、　一生の間これを読まなければならない。　それは、王が自分の神、【主】を恐れ、　このみおしえのすべてのことばと、　これらの掟を守り行うことを学ぶためである。』 民衆が、やがてさばきつかさから王を求めるようになります。そのことを予見したような記事です。地位が上がれば上がるほど、高ぶりは増し、謙虚さは減ってきます。王様になると、誰も何も言わなくなってしまいます。だからこそ、神を恐れ、み言葉を守り行う必要があるのです。高い地位につく人ほど、それが必要なのです。 今日も、主のみ言葉に聴くことができますように・・・。

 「"And you shall remember that you were a slave in Egypt, 　and you shall be careful to observe these statutes."」　Amen. 　It says, "Remember the hardship of slavery in Egypt, and keep the law and do it. Those who share the same experience can understand each other even if they do not exchange words. You may be in the midst of hardship, you may be in the midst of troubles. But these may be the days to help others one day. God is a good God. There are no wasted days. The way will surely open up. There is hope set beyond the hardships. 　May we continue to walk in the Lord's path today....　God bless you.   See you tomorrow.

『あなたがエジプトで奴隷であったことを覚え、　これらの掟を守り行いなさい。』 　エジプトでの苦難の奴隷生活を覚えて、掟を守り行いなさいと書かれてあります。同じ経験を持つ者は、言葉を交わさなくても、分かり合えるものです。今、苦難の中にあるかもしれない、悩みの真っ只中かもしれない。でも、それはかの日に人を助ける為の日々かもしれません。神様は良き神様です。無駄な日々はないのです。きっと道は開けるのです。苦難の向こうには希望がセットされているのです。 　今日も、主の道を歩み続けることができますように・・・。
