Ogni secondo si producono più di 3.000 capi di abbigliamento.Il 60% dei vestiti finisce in discarica entro un anno e l’80% dei vestiti presenti in un guardaroba non è stato indossato negli ultimi due mesi.Tra emissioni di gas a effetto serra, consumo di acqua dolce, produzione di rifiuti, fibre sintetiche che si trasformano rapidamente in microplastiche, l’industria della moda è la seconda più inquinante al mondo. Non mancano le implicazioni socio-economiche, come quelle legate allo sfruttamento dei lavoratori.Ma le possibilità alternative esistono e sono già presenti anche nel mercato italiano.
