10. People are always the REASON why

from The Shift Podcast · host Janessa Dean

Nick has worked as a CVICU nurse early on in his career, and then got into Flight Nursing, after sitting on his couch brainstorming what field in nursing would push him further. He has been a nurse for 5 years and flying for the last 2 years of that. He finishes his NP Spring of 2023. He also works at a local Med spa 1-2 times a week. His long term goal is to work in a critical access hospital (and probably keep flying) and/or start a medical non-profits/crisis response team that deploys to help hospitals at capacity, struggling with staff, natural disasters, etc. He spends time twice a year volunteering with a medical non-profit in Dominican Republic. His message is that people are always the reason why we do what we do, and are the reason why he goes to work everyday.
