10. The Missing Ranger (Chiricahua National Monument, Arizona)

 When an experienced park ranger sets out on his daily walk to make sure all is well, no one suspects anything bad could happen in that 1 mile walk. The ranger never returned from his walk and has never been seen again. Despite searches, tips, and theories, this ranger has been missing for the past 44 years.
