On April 11, 2019, a woman and her dog took a hike through the beautiful landscape of Cañón del Diablo, or Devils Canyon, with six other hikers. She decided to take a rest while the others continued without her. When the group returned to the spot where the woman and her dog had once been, she was nowhere to be seen. They vanished without a trace.
