#102 Finding your voice

from Intentional Disruption

In this episode, I reflect upon my struggle with accepting praise and acknowledging my wins. Despite receiving numerous awards and medals throughout my life, including in the military, as a franchise owner, and in the corporate world, I have never been comfortable with it. I often feel a sense of internal conflict, knowing that I am capable of performing better than almost anyone else but not feeling that I am personally better or worthy than anyone.  As I approach my best year in business, I find myself questioning whether I can be both hungry for more success and satisfied with my current accomplishments, and whether I can learn to accept the gifts that come my way.   I hope opening up about this helped give you perspective. So often we feel on an island with things. It shouldn't be that way.    If you'd like to connect you can reach us here: https://www.growwithdelta.com https://www.linkedin.com/in/mike-demo/ https://www.facebook.com/mike.demo/
