The medical field is a multi trillion dollar industry. In 2020 the U.S healthcare spending increased by 9.7 percent, reaching 4.1 trillion dollars. That averages out to be about $12,530 per person. With profits like that to be made, is it out of the realm of possibilities that there are cures for diseases that are being withheld?
