104 | Starting a business young and what that looks like for your relationships

from Starting the Conversation · host Alice Benham and Heather Lerry

This week's conversation starter is one that has been explored before on the podcast, but it's something that's so relevant that I'm really interested to delve into it more with the fantastic Heather. That topic is how starting out young in business impacts your relationships, be that with friends, family, work friends.  When I started working for myself I was so focused on what I was doing, I isolated myself from a lot of my friends. So it was interesting to hear Heather's experience of this time as she became self employed after college. Stepping out of some of those older friendships has also allowed us both to make new friends that come along when you start a business. It can be daunting connecting with new people so we share our experience of making friends and building relationships. _____ STAY CONNECTED Alice (aka me) | Instagram| Website| Podcast Heather | Instagram | Website  Episode 58.
