The veil of “I can outwork the system” is removed and reality sets in that the C-Suite often remains an undercooked mayo sausage party. For those that aren’t familiar we define Toxic Aunties as mature, seasoned black women co-workers who are most professional around their white counterparts but can be professionally immature, negative or territorial when dealing with younger or newer black women.
