Can you imagine running with a puppet? Well, Andrew can and does, becoming a uniquely recognized figure at runDisney events. This dynamic episode of our podcast marks our second anniversary, and we couldn't think of a better way to celebrate than with a fun and heartening chat with Andrew the Puppet Runner. Our friend Brandy, an audacious mud run adventurer, joins us in the Race Report Spotlight. We also share our excitement for the upcoming 2023-24 runDisney season.

The Wine and Dine Expo Guide was released last week.  We take a few moments to talk about changes from previous years, potential discounts at Disney Springs, and how to navigate the virtual queue for race weekend runDisney merchandise.

From Brandy's Mud Run to Joy wrapping up the virtual 12 Ks of Christmas a bit early, the Race Report is full of adventures from the Rise and Run family.

Robert Elsmere by Mary Augusta Ward (1851 - 1920) LibriVox Essentially the book covers the life of Robert Elsmere, a boyishly intellectual clergyman. The first part covers his meeting with and eventual marriage to Catherine Leyburn. After a period as a country vicar, Robert’s meetings with the local squire, an intellectual atheist, lead to his having a crisis of faith. The pair move to London where Robert works with the poor and uneducated. The lives of the people closely associated with the pair are also covered. The book is set against the late Victorian world and its reactions to Darwinism, Unitarianism and the rise of secularism and modernism. At the time, it was a runaway best seller and its attack on orthodox Christianity was fiercely debated by all, including Gladstone. - Summary by Simon Evers Rise of the Runelords Connor Boesch We are Clinton’s Core Classics - an actual play podcast playing Pathfinder’s Rise of the Runelords.
