白杖を持ち始めて10年たちました。最初の5年間は、白杖を人目にさらすのがイヤで隠して持ち歩いていました。もうどうしようもなくなってからも、なるべく見えないように持つ…という涙ぐましいことをしていました。今は、メガネをかけるのと同じくらいの無意識となった白杖。心の変遷は、ゆっくりゆっくりなのでした。
