Have the confidence to contact casting directors like a professional. No one wants to sound like an amateur, especially when you're talking to the person who might be able to give you a job. We know that casting directors are busy people, under a lot of pressure, so what can we do to make their life a little easier? In my opinion, it's getting straight to the point. Once you've established a relationship with them, then you can be more personable, but until then, don't waste a minute of their time.
