114: Having a Mary Heart for God's Vision

Send Ashley a text!Happy New Year! Do you have a vision for 2022? I know God has a vision for you. Maybe He's dropped something into your spirit that seems overwhelming or impossible. We can learn a lot from Mary on how to respond when God calls you to something new.Luke 1:26-38 records the conversation between Mary and the angel Gabriel. I don't know about you, but I want to have the same heart towards my calling as Mary.She was open to hear from God. She was quick to ask questions when she didn’t understand. She listened to what God had to say. She surrendered her plans so she she could surrender to His. She submitted to His calling even when it seemed huge and didn’t make sense. She trusted that God knew what He was doing and went with it.And of course, because of Mary’s heart, she became part of the greatest rescue story the world will ever know.God is no different today.
