Advent literally means “arrival” - the season of advent is one where we create space to reflect on the arrival of Jesus and one where we allow that reflection to uniquely shape us as Jesus followers. On that first Christmas night, the most important thing to ever happen in human history was happening. Simultaneously, the world kept turning and most people totally missed it.
