#12 Invites: Hoe Valerie geïnspireerd raakte om haar eigen haarwerk-lijn op te starten

Vandaag had ik de eer om Valerie Prontera te mogen interviewen. Deze Limburgse topper onder de toppers ontwikkelde haar eigen haarwerken-lijn bekend onder de naam HairByV. Valerie's verhaal met Alopecia begon 23 jaar geleden. Wanneer haar eigen haar extreem dunner begon te worden zocht ze steun bij medische professionals. Na allerlei behandelingen uitgeprobeerd te hebben bleek niets te helpen op de lange termijn. Zo begon haar zoektocht naar andere hulpmiddelen. Ze kwam via een Amerikaans bedrijf in aanraking met het concept van toppers. Haar online aankoop bleek een miskoop te zijn. En doordat er toen in Europa nog een gebrek aan toppers was kreeg ze het idee om deze zelf te gaan ontwikkelen. HairByV werd geboren. Een eerlijk en open gesprek over Valerie's beleving met deze aandoening en hoe dit haar de kracht gaf om een eigen onderneming op te starten.
