12 LESSONS LEARNED IN 2021 JUNE: no promises  Hi, I'm Anna and I don't make promises, because I'm afraid I could break them. And somehow it just does not feel good to say: "I promise." So I have stopped saying it. Feels better. :-)  A little outtake: "The definition of the word promise is the following: A promise is a statement telling someone that you will definitely do something or that something will definitely happen in the future. Doesn't sound good for me. The word definitely is used twice in that definition and represents a 100% guarantee. I know it doesn't sound romantic if I say: "There is a possibility that I will love you for a long time." But that is more decent than to say: I will love you forever even though this does sound beautiful. Is the reason we say "I promise" to provide more power to what we are saying? It's a strong word. I have learned to make a difference between what is within my power and what is not. If I make a promise to someone, I assume that I can control that action. But do I have a guarantee that this is the case?"Wishing you a lovely second Christmas day. Wherever you are, I wish you a lovely day. Relax. Sing. Dance. Paint. Cook or watch your favourite movie. I feel it should be a day that does you good. Until tomorrow when I am back with lesson no 7, which I enjoy immensely, it's about winning and losing. Uhhh... Take care, bye-bye. AnnABy the way; please subscribe to the Newsletter and in the future, you will get all the audio versions also in written form.     The Member's Club CHECK IT OUT How about some hashtags for once: #standyourground #speakyourtruth #speakout #breakthestigma #intentionalliving #sayno #chooseyou #chooseyourself #boundaries #boundariesarehealthy  #life #strong #happy #healthy #peace #harmony  #mindset #powerofthemind #nopromises #mindshift #selfgrowthjourney #liveyourpurpose #mindsetiskey #positiveminds #motivationeveryday #gratitudeattitude #trustyourjourney #pursueyourpassion #purposedrivenlife #abundancemindset #personaldevelopment
