12 - Pigeons / Starbucks

On this devastatingly sad episode of Drink With Me, we discuss the plight of pigeons, man's bird-best friend. We bred them to trust us, and then we threw them into the streets with the possums and skunks to fend for themselves. I wish I could say we did pigeons the service of recording this episode professionally in peace and quiet, but we had somewhere to be, so we recorded it on a car ride to Maine as we drank Starbucks. Pigeons picked the wrong animal to be bird-best friends with, clearly. And Eliza almost got into several accidents on the drive. A pigeon would have done a better job.
