123. Dolores Reynals: A True Woman of the World

In today’s episode Kate and Betsy interview actress and author Dolores Reynals, a true woman of the world.  Dolores’ fascinating life circling the globe and her commitment to her inner voice no matter the naysayers shows us yet another version of the wild woman. In today’s episode we discuss: Dolores’ traumatic entry into this world and how medical staff believed she would die, but she kept crying and kicking, a testament to her tenacity. Her early years growing up at the base of the Andes in Argentina and how the arrival of triplets into her family changed everything. Dolores’ deep wanderlust that she ties back to the hours she spent in her mom’s travel agency looking at travel brochures. Dolores’ first transatlantic adventure after high school to live in Spain with her mother’s family, and how she stretched the trip out as long as possible, choosing freedom over comfort. The break that happened between her and her parents when she chose to study theatre over the more accepted study of journalism, and how she stayed to true to her dream which took her to London.
