http://HigherSightsCounseling.com is where you can find Steph and 120+ other clinical mental health therapy providers in Colorado Psychology Today also here Sondermind other options for LPC and LCSW therapists Alma and another platform for finding therapists A couple of (the many) inspiring humans doing good work on the planet that Steph got mesmerized by this week via instagram : Not the Worst Cleaner has 1.7 million followers and 175 M views of her you tube videos. It’s definitely difficult to imagine people living in situations that she commits to cleaning, but her attitude and her message are truly remarkable and inspiring. She does this work so that people living in terrible/unsanitary hoarding situations related to mental illness can have a non-judgmental reprieve from their overwhelming situation. Jacob Collier’s instagram link is full of examples of him leading whole arenas of people in spontaneous choir performances, among other wonderful antics. His approach to music and connecting people is worth exploring. Lawn care angels like Blade Mate Lawn Care and Cultivate connect do-gooders with disabilities with folks who can help care for their yards, etc. In researching this I also found Boulder County’s Volunteer page and I’m hoping there are pages like this in your community The 5 Types of Wealth by Sahil Bloom (here’s our affiliate link for this book in case you want to support the MM at the same time :)) Interview: Sahil Bloom (episode #517) with Dr. Rangan Chatterjee on his podcast Feel Better, Live More Of Human Bondage by W. The Optimalist Podcast Sara Candela for Focusable The Optimalist podcast seeks to bring you conversations about mindfulness, attention, focus, and getting beyond the need to feel engaged every second in order to be happy and motivated. Life gets more distracting each day, with our physical and digital lives coming together in ways that diminish our ability to pay attention. Now, AI is becoming part of your everyday life - offering new potential but also new demands on your attention. We believe that to flourish, we need to retain the ability to focus. To embrace challenges. To do the deep work. Investing in your ability to focus is the foundation. We hope this podcast helps connect more and more educators to the importance of this effort towards prioritizing better attention and mindful living- in school, work, and at home. Mindful Trip Min Lee Everyone has a story and I believe that sharing your story has the power to connect people. And talking to those who’ve experienced the therapeutic magic of psychedelics and hearing about their personal journey has become my passion. Mindful Trip is a safe space to have conversations that demystify and de-stigmatize the use of psychedelics for therapeutic use. Conversations that allow us to have deeper connections with ourselves and others. I hope that sharing these intimate, funny, and inspiring stories helps you find the answers you’re looking for. So, join me in unraveling the threads, staying open, and trusting the journey.
