#1292025/07/28（月）~ Katsushika Hokusai exhibition in France ~葛飾北斎という、江戸時代(1603~1867)の日本の画家の展示会がフランスで行われていて、1ヶ月先までチケットが完売するほど人気だそうです。北斎の絵は、浮世絵という、人々の生活・憧れの美人や役者・花鳥風月を描いたジャンルの絵です。この世は辛いことばかり（憂き世/ うきよ）だから、浮かれて、この世を楽しみたいという人々の思いから、「浮世/ うきよ」の字が使われるようになったそうです。皆さんはこの波の絵を見たことがありますか？かつしか ほくさいという、えど じだい(1603~1867)の にほんの がかの てんじかいが ふらんすで おこなわれていて、いっかげつさきまで ちけっとが かんばいするほど にんきだそうです。ほくさいの えは、うきよえ という、ひとびとの せいかつ・あこがれの びじんや やくしゃ・かちょうふうげつを えがいた じゃんるの えです。このよは つらいことばかり（うきよ）だから、うかれて、このよを たのしみたい という ひとびとの おもいから、「うきよ」の じが つかわれるように なったそうです。みなさんは この なみの えを みたことがありますか？An exhibition of Katsushika Hokusai, a Japanese painter of the Edo period (1603~1867), is being held in France. It is so popular that early bird tickets are sold out for the next one month.Hokusai's paintings are in the genre of ukiyoe, which draw people's lives, admired beautiful women and actors, and nature (flowers, birds, winds, and the moon).This world is full of hard things（憂き世）, so people want to be more excited and enjoy it more（浮かれる）.Because of people’s those hopes, they started to use the character “浮世”.
