Last October a 25-year-old, North Carolina woman named Shanquella Robinson went on a trip to Cabo Mexico with a group of six people she called ‘friends’. A day later she is found dead in the villa the group rented, with the ‘friends’ telling Robinson’s family that Shanquella died of alcohol poisoning, although the death certificate read very differently. It stated Shanquella suffered a spinal cord injury, and not only that, a video of Shanquella being violently assaulted was also discovered.
