#13 - From 300+ Pounds To Running A Marathon

from Fit(ish) Project · host Lathan Bass

I used to weigh over 300 lbs. I also had knee reconstructive surgery and was unable to comfortably run for over a year. And I just ran a marathon. I went from running 0 miles per week to running 26.2 in a single race. And I got to this point over the course of just 4.5 months. In this podcast I'll share the story of why I decided to run a marathon and all the details about the actual race day. If you're someone who's ever considered running or doing an event like a marathon then this episode will give you a little insight into what you can expect and maybe even inspire you enough to sign up for your own race! IG: BassbuiltfitnessTik tok: bassbuiltfitnessFacebook: bassbuiltfitness1-on-1 coaching: Apply here
