Prior to writing full time, he spent twenty-five years in law enforcement. Notable assignments included the Special Community Action Team, Special Weapons and Tactics team, Exploited Missing Children Unit, and various supervisory roles, including the executive officer to the chief of police.Scott has been writing since he was a cop and now is a full-time author in his retirement from law enforcement.
