136. Get Out Of The River Of Hell

from Go Regulate Yourself · host Brianne Roberge

Have you ever experienced a moment in life where everything seems to be going wrong, maybe it feels like you can’t catch a break, and you just so happen to be feeling sorry for yourself because of it all?Well, if you have, don’t worry. You’re not alone. In fact, just a couple of weeks ago I was in this exact same spot- deep in victimhood and wondering why my entire world was crashing down around me.At the time, I was in pajamas I’d worn for three days, feeling irritable and crying non-stop… and it felt like nothing could ‘shift’ me out of it. But in that moment- something beautiful and unexpected happened.I ended up randomly drawing a picture that created a radical perspective shift on what I was unconsciously ‘choosing’ for my life by wallowing in my current state- and the best part is? It also came with an understanding of what I could do to instantly alter how I was feeling so that I could get ahead. This metaphor is exactly what I’m walking you through today, and if you have ever been (or currently are) inside of a moment like this- this episode is for you.Let’s dive in, shall we?__________________________* JOIN REG BABES AFTER DARK HERE *__________________________EXTRAS + SOCIALSEnjoyed this episode + want to send some love? SEE HEREFor more about Brianne, her work and content SEE HERE Connect on Instagram:Brianne RobergeGo Regulate YourselfConnect on Facebook:Brianne RobergeGo Regulate Yourself
