Nabil is theatermaker, spoken word artiest, schrijfdocent en podcastmaker en ontving vanuit de ZOZ Academy een bijdrage om scènes te ontwikkelen voor zijn debuut voorstelling Jihad an Nafs.  Jihad an Nafs (“Het gevecht van de ziel”) gaat over het zoeken naar (h)erkenning, vervreemding en erbij willen horen. In de voorstelling, gebaseerd op het leven van Nabil, volgen we de ontwikkeling van Moesa. Hij groeit op met een gewelddadige vader en een emotioneel afwezige moeder. Moesa weet zich geen raad met zijn emoties en vindt uiteindelijk aansluiting bij een groep geradicaliseerde mannen die hem onder het mom van religie de oplossing bieden voor zijn interne conflict.
