14 Violin Drone Solo

from apertome Hosted by apertome

My 14th (and last) song of February for February Album Writing Month (FAWM) 2016. I'm feeling contemplative tonight so I laid down some drone work and improvised some loose violin soloing over it, as well as an improvised harmony synth line (MS-20 Mini) that interacts with the violin part. Some various reverbs space everything out nicely. Drones: modular synth (Richter Noisering + Pittsburgh Bender + Pittsburgh filter) + Novation Ultranova Keyboard harmony: MS-20 Mini Reverbs: ValhallaRoom, ValhallaShimmer, and Liquidsonics Reverberate convolution reverb
