Ben Aitken is a Melbourne based visual artist who's work spans across painting, sculpture, text and video. His work is raw, expressive and autobiographical. Playful and serious in equal measures. He is a five time archibald prize finalist, founder of Nicholas Projects, an itinerant gallery, and exhibits both nationally and internationally. In late 2021, Ben was arrested and incarcerated on drug trafficking charges.
