#149 Can you skip 1:1 and jump to selling courses?

Hello, super amazing entrepreneur! It’s Tash Corbin here, and welcome to another episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast. This is episode 149. Now, what we’re talking about today is a pretty controversial topic and it has created a HUGE stir amongst the women of my program called Get with the Program. This is a course where I teach course creation and I shared this conversation with them. I was basically saying, for some of you, course creation is not where you should be focussing right now. What we were talking about is this idea that when you first start a business, you have a choice of either starting with 1:1 and doing courses and group programs further down the track (or you can stay 1:1 forever). Or, you could jump in and just start selling courses right away. What I want to answer is what are the pros and cons of skipping the 1:1 part and just jumping straight into creating online courses. Because it sounds easier! It sounds like it’s a much sexier business model and so a lot of people do jump in and they don’t want to work with people 1:1 at all. And it actually can mean that their business doesn’t take off as quickly. I want to have a conversation about that and that’s what we’re going to do today.
