#529: Do I need more "Main Character Energy"? - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and links available at: tashcorbin.com/529Today's episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast started as a reply to a question I received after episode 507—the one where I talked about niching and said, "Stop making it about yourself, you're not the main character." After that, someone messaged me asking, "But Tash, don’t I actually need a bit of main character energy in my business? Shouldn’t I be stepping more into the spotlight?"I loved that question so much, I knew we had to dig into it. So let’s talk about what main character energy really is in business, and where you absolutely should—and shouldn't—lean into it.When Should You Embrace Main Character Energy? You might be surprised to hear me say this, but: absolutely yes, I want you to embrace main character energy. I want you to step into the spotlight, as often and as proudly as possible… when it comes to your story.Let me explain. In episode 507, I talked about niching and why it's not about you. When you’re making decisions about your niche, your messaging, and your sales pages, it needs to focus on your ideal client. You are the guide, not the main character of that story. Your audience—the people you serve—are the heroes. But that doesn’t mean everything in your business is about them and you somehow disappear. Quite the opposite....read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/529Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

#528: The slow and subtle social media shift (that's speeding up) - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and links available at: tashcorbin.com/528Let me start this episode by saying: I’m not 100% sure everyone’s going to love what I have to say, but this is an important topic if you want to make informed decisions for your business moving forward. We need to talk about a slow but subtle shift I’ve seen happening on social media—one that’s really starting to speed up. I promise, this won’t be as vague as it sounds. If you’re trying to grow an audience on social media, feeling frustrated by slowing audience growth, or thinking about how you might need to shift your strategy, then you’ll want to stick with me for this one.The Ever-Changing Social Media LandscapeChange is a constant in our lives, but nowhere is that more clear than in the world of social media. The landscape for business owners is always shifting: new trends, algorithm updates, platform tweaks—those changes come at us fast. Sometimes things like links are suddenly deprioritised or new features like reels take over. But running beneath those fast shifts is something slower, subtler, and it’s really starting to pick up pace. What’s the social media shift? It’s the very real shortening timeframe between signing up for a platform and the point when you “need” to spend real money on ads to get seen. And honestly, I know a lot of you aren’t going to love that....read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/528Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

#527: Are you Bootstrapping or Sabotaging? - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/527Have you ever had a friend, client, or maybe even a family member come to you with what they see as a completely unsolvable business problem, and you can clearly see the answer staring them in the face? Or maybe, you’ve had that moment yourself? That’s exactly how I felt recently, and it inspired this episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast. I want to talk about self-sacrifice, bootstrapping, making do—and how those habits might actually be huge mindset blocks in disguise that are sabotaging you.The Facebook Post That Sparked EverythingThis conversation started when I posted a question on my Facebook page: "If you had all the money you needed, would you still run your business? And if so, what would you do differently?"The responses were fascinating, and some even turned into deeper conversations in DMs, client sessions, and emails. I want to shout out a big thank you to everyone who jumped into that conversation—you’ve given me so much food for thought (fabulous fodder, as I like to say) for this episode. From all those comments and conversations, three things really stood out to me...Read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/527Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

#526: What to do when you're overwhelmed by all the things - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/526Join the GYM! tashcorbin.com/gymBefore we dive into the heart of this week’s episode, I want to touch quickly on last week’s Heart-Centred Business Podcast. I know it was a departure from my usual vibe—let’s just say, it was a bit less nurturing, less gentle, and probably a lot more direct than you’re used to from me. I apologised for the tone back then, but not the message, and I still stand by that! Was I premenstrual? Maybe. Did I just finish a late-night netball session with a hyped-up pack of 12-year-olds? Absolutely. My voice was on the way out. I was, I admit, a little bit in a mood. The thing is, sometimes when Aunty Tash lets loose, it’s for good reason—the rant and the message are always sent with love, even if they don’t sound all that loving in the moment. So, if life has you feeling frazzled and overwhelmed, or you’re running wild on the hamster wheel, I hope that last week’s episode at least sparked a little fire. We’re all just trying to navigate this wild “fire Horse year” and maybe you needed a push to do something about it.This week, it’s all about being overwhelmed—if you’re still feeling like you’re drowning in all the things (maybe it was the world, maybe it was the Lego you stepped on this morning—who knows!), I think today’s episode is exactly what you need.Today, I’m diving into what to do when you're overwhelmed and it feels like it’s taking over. Why Overwhelm Feels So DebilitatingLet’s be real: I don’t need to explain what overwhelm feels like. You know it! It sneaks into every part of your life. I’ve felt it myself, especially over the last few weeks. So let’s cut to the chase: what do you actually DO when overwhelm is running the show and it feels like your brain is slowly shutting down because, frankly, the sheer volume of everything is just too much?...read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/526 Join the GYM!tashcorbin.com/gymLet me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

#525: Be honest: Are you on the Hamster wheel? - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/525Now more than ever, when I ask people how they are, the one answer I keep hearing is, “I’m busy.” There’s too much to do, not enough time, and this year is getting away from so many of us. But here’s the thing—not every job or task is created equal. If you’re caught up in busyness that’s not actually moving you forward, you’re on a treadmill. You’re on the hamster wheel. And today on the Heart-Centred Business Podcast, I’m getting really honest about what it looks like to be stuck on that wheel, how you can tell if you’re doing it, and—most importantly—what you can do about it.What Does Being “Busy” Really Mean Anyway?Let’s talk about all the “busy” work we end up doing as business owners. There are SO many tasks that feel repetitive: thinking time, learning, content creation, tidying up, updating, strategising, making decisions, redoing plans—the list goes on. Progress doesn’t always look pretty, and it rarely happens in a vacuum. It can be genuinely tricky to know if what you’re doing is helping or if you’re just running on the spot. So, how can you tell if all those busy days and weeks are actually taking you somewhere, or if you’re just spinning your wheels? For me, it comes down to results—especially income. That doesn’t mean my results or income have to be going up all the time, but I’m always keeping an eye on one big thing: am I getting closer to my vision for the life and business I want? Progress for me isn’t measured by effort or how busy I look. It’s about real results. Are things actually improving? Are my actions making a difference? Or would these results have happened even if I’d done nothing? You’ve got to stop regularly and take stock, not just coast along....read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/525Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

#524: "Take your time" … it's been on my mind - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/524Have you ever had a phrase just keep pinging around your brain? For me, ever since our Lunar New Year reading with Kerry Rowett, "take your time" has been popping up again and again. Kerry gave us three big messages in her reading (which you can find at tashcorbin.com/508), but this one keeps resurfacing as a little intuitive nudge. It’s led me to a whole new conversation, which I want to have with you right here on the Heart-Centred Business Podcast.Even if you missed Kerry’s Lunar New Year reading (or if you want to hear it again), I totally recommend checking it out. There’s so much gold in there. We dug into practical ways to bring those big messages to life, so go back and give it another listen when you get the chance. From Kerry’s reading, three big principles showed up:Take your time.Stay in your lane.Trust the process. But it’s that first one, "take your time," that’s really stuck with me—especially in the past couple of weeks. I keep feeling like we’re not done talking about it yet, so here I am, picking it apart with new angles and fresh ways to think about it....Read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/524Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

#523: I've got a theory about mindset for business owners - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/523I want to share a theory about mindset for business owners. It's been bubbling up for a while, and it feels like there’s a bigger picture we’re not seeing these days—especially when it comes to how mindset work fits into the business journey.Let’s talk about why working with mindset practitioners used to be a no-brainer, why it isn’t as mainstream now, and what that means for new and established business owners. How It All Started: The “Must-Have” Mindset Work of the Early DaysWhen I started my business in 2013, it felt like everyone who was serious about business had a mindset practitioner. Especially if you were in the early, scrappy, trying-to-get-it-to-work stages, mindset work wasn’t just a nice-to-have, it was essential. Back then, business strategy was simpler. Fewer tech options, fewer platforms. If you wanted to run a webinar, you pretty much only had GoToWebinar—and that platform cost $197 USD every single month. In other words, you really needed at least one paying client just to cover your tech bill. With so few options, it was crystal clear if something wasn’t working—either you hadn't nailed the basics, or you had a mindset block. If you weren’t doing that handful of core actions, it was probably a mindset issue. Results were consistent, too. People talked about the 3% conversion rule: get 100 people on your webinar, and you'd likely get three clients if your offer was solid and under $1,000.There was this sharp focus, and because of that, if you weren’t taking action or seeing results, mindset was the obvious place to look....read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/523Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

#522: How to create an effective content ecosystem - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/522Welcome back to our regular programming here on the Heart-Centred Business Podcast! We just finished the 12 Days of #Tashmas, and I hope those episodes sparked some insights or inspiration for you! I know a bunch of you are still catching up (it was a lot, right?)—but hey, you know I love yapping and creating heaps of content. If a daily podcast ever made sense as a business strategy, I’d be right there doing it. But for now, we’re back to our weekly episodes. Today, I want to dive into your content ecosystem—how to actually make it effective. If you haven’t checked out episode Day 12 of #Tashmas (tashcorbin.com/521), pop back and do that first, since this episode really flows straight from there. If you’re all caught up, let’s dive in—because nailing your content ecosystem is what makes the difference between long-term business momentum and feeling like you’re constantly stopping and starting.Content Has Changed... But the Fundamentals Haven’tHand on heart, I wish I’d nailed my content ecosystem way earlier in my business journey. So many of my tips here are basically lessons I’ve learned the hard way: let me be your cautionary tale! We’re talking about getting consistent and effective with your content as a business owner—so you actually grow your audience, generate leads, and make sales. Content goes through all sorts of trends and fads, but the core principles have stuck around since I started my business back in 2013. Your goals for content haven’t changed—what has changed is the HOW, and the options you’ve got to get your message out....read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/522Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

    #521: Your messaging doesn't need an overhaul - #Tashmas Day 12 - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/521This episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast is a bit of a curveball: I’m here to tell you not to overhaul your messaging. In a world where everyone’s shouting that you need to reinvent, revolutionise, or completely scrap your messaging, I’m offering something different. Nope, you don’t need to do any of that. Here’s why—and how to create messaging that grows with you.Plus, it’s Day 12 of #Tashmas... which means there's one last gift for you with this episode!Wait… What is #Tashmas?I do it for both my birthday (1-12 March) and pre-Christmas (1-12 December) every year! Every day from now until my birthday on 12th March, there will be a new daily podcast episode, with a hot tip or practical strategy as per usual… but you ALSO get a gift! I love sharing the birthday vibes, and what better way to do that?! The daily gift could be a freebie, a special offer, a competition… but there will be something for YOU every single day.Why Messaging Overhauls Aren't the AnswerI used to be all about messaging overhauls and makeovers. I even have old content floating around about how to “makeover” your messaging. But here’s what I’ve come to realise: Most heart-centred entrepreneurs (especially those in my audience) don’t need total messaging overhauls. What people actually need is steady, gradual improvement. If you can talk about the needs in your market, speak to the experiences of your audience, and describe the transformation you help facilitate—guess what? You’ve got the foundations of a powerful message right there. But so many people are allowing messaging “experts” to strip away their confidence, making them believe they’re not good enough or that their messaging is fundamentally flawed. That isn’t true....read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/521Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

#520: Are you giving your warm leads… the ICK? - #Tashmas Day 11 - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/520I’m not usually the type to sound alarms or buzz the fear horn just for the sake of it. But in this episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast, I want to have a real talk about how you’re engaging with your audience—especially those leads that are starting to warm up. Because here’s the thing: some of you are accidentally giving your warm leads the ick. This came up thanks to a question in one of my group calls, where someone literally asked, “Am I giving my warm leads the ick? As soon as someone gets invested, I feel like I do something to totally repel them.” And you know what? That’s a super common worry.Normally, my default is to reassure everyone—“No, no, no, you’re not doing anything wrong!” But once we broke her process down, a few red flags popped up, and I figured if one person’s asking, we should talk about it on the podcast.Plus, it’s Day 11 of #Tashmas, and I’ve got a special gift for you at the end.Wait… What is #Tashmas?I do it for both my birthday (1-12 March) and pre-Christmas (1-12 December) every year! Every day from now until my birthday on 12th March, there will be a new daily podcast episode, with a hot tip or practical strategy as per usual… but you ALSO get a gift! I love sharing the birthday vibes, and what better way to do that?! The daily gift could be a freebie, a special offer, a competition… but there will be something for YOU every single day. When You Get a DM or Email: Celebrate (But Not Too Loudly)Honestly, when warm leads email or send you a DM, that’s cause for celebration! It’s that moment where you dance around the house and do a little happy wiggle. I get it—the excitement is hard to contain. But let’s not get too ahead of ourselves. Just like that time a guy called me his girlfriend on a first date (yep, true story!), showing your hand too fast can feel awkward on the other side.Be friendly. Be positive. But maybe don’t go all in with, “OMG, thank you so much, this is amazing, we’re going to work together and it’ll be incredible!” When you come across that desperate, it can trigger warning signals for the lead. It gives them the ick—even though your excitement is genuine....read the full artricle at: tashcorbin.com/520Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

#519: Your offers need to be more specific - #Tashmas Day 10 - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/519Today, we’re talking about something I see come up ALL the time for heart-centred business owners: your offers. More specifically, how to make your offers way more effective at attracting and converting the RIGHT clients—without making your sales pages a million miles long. I want to give you some practical ways to get specific, keep it short, and make your offers pop!PLUS I have a very special offer with this episode of #Tashmas.Wait… What is #Tashmas?I do it for both my birthday (1-12 March) and pre-Christmas (1-12 December) every year! Every day from now until my birthday on 12th March, there will be a new daily podcast episode, with a hot tip or practical strategy as per usual… but you ALSO get a gift! I love sharing the birthday vibes, and what better way to do that?! The daily gift could be a freebie, a special offer, a competition… but there will be something for YOU every single day.Why Your Offers Aren’t Landing (And What To Do)I spend a lot of time online, probably more than most people, and because of that, I get a unique view of what’s happening across the Heart-Centred Community (we’ve got over 30,000 members, after all!) and among small business owners just like you.One trend I keep seeing? Offers are getting more generic and more vague. Plus, the sales copy is getting longer and longer. We've all heard that saying, “I would have written you a shorter letter, but I didn’t have enough time.” It actually takes time and energy to be precise and concise, instead of just throwing all the words at the wall. Here’s what actually happens: When your offer is vague and generic, people scroll right past. Those posts get the least comments, the least reach, the least engagement. If we want offers that work, we need to be specific… but not long-winded....read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/519Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

#518: Advanced procrastination tactics are on the rise - #Tashmas Day 9 - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/518Welcome to another episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast! Today, I want to shine a light on something that might just hit a little close to home—especially if you’re a business owner who sometimes finds themselves stuck, spinning wheels, or endlessly “preparing” instead of actually doing. We’re diving deep into advanced procrastination tactics, and why they’re suddenly everywhere I look. And make sure to check out your gift with this episode of #Tashmas—it’s a game-changer for anyone who’s tired of letting advanced procrastination get in the way of their big business dreams.Wait… What is #Tashmas?I do it for both my birthday (1-12 March) and pre-Christmas (1-12 December) every year! Every day from now until my birthday on 12th March, there will be a new daily podcast episode, with a hot tip or practical strategy as per usual… but you ALSO get a gift! I love sharing the birthday vibes, and what better way to do that?! The daily gift could be a freebie, a special offer, a competition… but there will be something for YOU every single day.Why Simple Works (And Why We Overcomplicate Everything)I spend a LOT of time talking about strategy with clients—inside my group programs, on retreats, in social media DMs, or one-to-one with my VIPs. And something I’m hearing a lot at the moment is, “I just need to get everything sorted before I...” (fill in the blank: launch, sell, send the proposal, pitch the offer).I have a bit of a superpower for cutting through the noise and getting laser-focused on what actually matters. It’s not about being harsh or bossy—actually, a lot of it comes from my self-confessed laziness! If there’s a way to get results without busywork, I’ll find it. I’m ambitious and lazy, which, trust me, is a magic combo when it comes to making things happen with less effort. But here’s what I’ve noticed recently: the simple strategies are suddenly much, much harder for people to execute. Even when I cut the fluff and give clients a clear, doable plan... something gets in the way. People get stuck on all the “shoulds” and “maybes”—and convince themselves they have to do a thousand other things before doing the thing that actually matters....read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/518Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

#517: IWD – The one thing I wish we’d stop saying about women - #Tashmas Day 8 - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/517It’s International Women’s Day, so of course I couldn’t let this episode go by without talking about something super close to my heart.  Today, for IWD, I’m diving into the one thing I really wish we’d stop saying about women. Trust me, it’s more powerful than you might think.Plus, it’s day 8 of #Tashmas, which means I’ve got a fabulous gift for you at the end—don’t miss it!Wait… What is #Tashmas?I do it for both my birthday (1-12 March) and pre-Christmas (1-12 December) every year! I love sharing the birthday vibes, and what better way to do that?! The daily gift could be a freebie, a special offer, a competition… but there will be something for YOU every single day.The Hidden Narrative: “Women = Drama” (And Why It’s So Problematic)I want to talk about the belief that if you get a group of women together, it’s going to be dramatic, fraught, or even “horrific.” You know the ones: “A team full of women? Brace yourself.” Or the social posts that say things like, “This is why I don’t have many women friends,” often shared by women themselves. It’s this story that women can’t get along, that we’re always competing—and it’s everywhere. But where does this idea come from? Spoiler alert: it’s all steeped in patriarchy. When you look at matriarchal societies, this belief just didn’t exist. Women centred on children, life, and community, rather than buying into “divide and conquer.” In patriarchal societies, though, any time women gathered without male supervision, it was seen as dangerous. Why? Because when women support each other—when we educate, inform, and uplift one another—we threaten the system....read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/517Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

#516: My algorithm is healing - #Tashmas Day 7 - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/516If you’re feeling frustrated with your social media experience right now, you’re definitely not alone. I’ve been there too! If you’ve noticed your Facebook or Instagram feed is full of stuff you don’t care about, or you can’t find posts from the people and businesses you actually want to connect with, this episode is for you. I spent the past few months on a mission: I wanted to consciously begin healing my algorithm and bring the joy back to my social experience. And guess what? It’s working! Here’s exactly what I did (and what you can try too). And because this is a #Tashmas episode of the podcast, I have a gift for you at the end of today's episode.Wait… What is #Tashmas?I do it for both my birthday (1-12 March) and pre-Christmas (1-12 December) every year! Every day from now until my birthday on 12th March, there will be a new daily podcast episode, with a hot tip or practical strategy as per usual… but you ALSO get a gift! I love sharing the birthday vibes, and what better way to do that?! The daily gift could be a freebie, a special offer, a competition… but there will be something for YOU every single day.Why I Decided to Fix My FeedIt’s such a common struggle: business owners complaining that the algorithm is keeping them from reaching their audience, and even as users, it feels like your feed is cluttered with content you didn’t sign up for. I was tired of scrolling endlessly, only to see ads, suggested posts, or bland content, hardly ever real updates from the people and communities I care about. So, at the start of 2026, I decided to be the change. I wanted to create a feed that actually felt good for me, and at the same time, help more small businesses and new creators get seen—because it’s tough for them to get organic reach these days. My goal: follow and engage with businesses I genuinely like, and intentionally shape my feed to be inspiring and useful....read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/516Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

    #515: Niching for the “Un-Niche-Able” - #Tashmas Day 6 - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/515Ever felt like your business just can’t be niched? Maybe you’ve been around for a while and your offers now sprawl across all sorts of topics, or maybe you’re just getting started but the thought of putting yourself in a box makes you want to run? I call this the “un-niche-able” dilemma, and you’re not alone when it comes to niching.Today on the Heart-Centred Business Podcast, I want to make niching feel waaaay less restricting and, honestly, a whole lot more helpful (if you actually need it at all). And stick around because, in true #Tashmas style, there’s a little gift for you at the end.Wait… What is #Tashmas?I do it for both my birthday (1-12 March) and pre-Christmas (1-12 December) every year! Every day from now until my birthday on 12th March, there will be a new daily podcast episode, with a hot tip or practical strategy as per usual… but you ALSO get a gift! I love sharing the birthday vibes, and what better way to do that?! The daily gift could be a freebie, a special offer, a competition… but there will be something for YOU every single day.Let’s Talk About the “Un-Niche-Able” FeelingNo matter where you are in business, “niching” can bring up all sorts of resistance. Maybe you’ve been doing your thing for ages and now your messaging covers heaps of different audiences and offers. Or you’re new in business, bursting with creativity (and ideas for days), and you can’t stand the thought of narrowing yourself to just one area.Sometimes it comes from loving what you do so much that you want to help absolutely EVERYONE. Suddenly, every conversation about niching feels like someone’s trying to put you in a cage. You don’t have to feel boxed in! Here’s how I see it: being the “un-nicheable” just means you haven’t found a style of niching that fits you… yet....read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/515Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

#514: Lead or Lurker? You need Qualifying Questions! - #Tashmas Day 5 - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/514Ever felt like your audience is full of lurkers—people who seem interested but never actually buy or book a call? In this episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast, I break down exactly how to tell if someone is just hanging out on the sidelines or if they’re a genuine lead. Spoiler: it’s all about using qualifying questions (and being a bit braver with your outreach). And because this is day 5 of #Tashmas, I've got a special gift for you at the end of today's episode!Wait… What is #Tashmas?I do it for both my birthday (1-12 March) and pre-Christmas (1-12 December) every year! Every day from now until my birthday on 12th March, there will be a new daily podcast episode, with a hot tip or practical strategy as per usual… but you ALSO get a gift! I love sharing the birthday vibes, and what better way to do that?! The daily gift could be a freebie, a special offer, a competition… but there will be something for YOU every single day.Why Waiting for Leads Doesn’t WorkYou might have heard me say, if you’re only waiting for people to come to you and announce, “I’m interested in working with you!”—you’re missing out on 80% (or more) of your leads. Most people don’t reach out—they’re waiting for a nudge. If your only leads are those who take the first step, you’re leaving money on the table. Proactive lead generation is key....read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/514Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

    #513: Kickstart 2026 Lessons I need to share - #Tashmas Day 4 - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/513Something I absolutely love about being a business owner is how much of what we do turns out to be a co-creation. Today on the Heart-Centred Business Podcast, I want to share five big lessons from Kickstart 2026, the January event I ran, which felt like a true co-creation with everyone who participated. These lessons are powerful and grounded, and they show us how to build businesses that feel more aligned, create a sense of momentum, and help us get unstuck from that never-ending to-do list feeling. If you’re new here, Kickstart is an event I’ve run every January for several years, and we also repeat the process in May as Biz Boost. It’s all about generating momentum and focusing on the most important tasks as business owners. And since this is #Tashmas Day 4, I have a fabulous gift for you at the end of the episode!Wait… What is #Tashmas?I do it for both my birthday (1-12 March) and pre-Christmas (1-12 December) every year! Every day from now until my birthday on 12th March, there will be a new daily podcast episode, with a hot tip or practical strategy as per usual… but you ALSO get a gift! I love sharing the birthday vibes, and what better way to do that?! The daily gift could be a freebie, a special offer, a competition… but there will be something for YOU every single day.Lesson 1: If Something’s Not Working, It’s Not YOU Who Needs to ChangeThis first lesson landed big time this Kickstart. If something’s not working in your business, it’s not you who needs to change. I know I’ve said this in sixteen different ways over the last couple of years, but this time, it really took root. Here’s what tends to happen: You struggle to get your podcast out consistently, and then decide, “I need to be more organised.” Or you get frustrated because you’re behind on client notes and end up hating your business—and yourself—over it. The solution starts with recognising and actually embodying that belief: it’s not me, it’s the business that needs to change around me....read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/513Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/512If there’s one thing I’d love for you to have more of this year, it’s biz besties. These are not just more people in your network—they’re true business friends. As business owners (especially online), having this kind of connection makes such a difference to the experience of business ownership. Today on the Heart-Centred Business Podcast, I’m diving into how to actually find your biz besties, how to nurture those relationships, and why they’re invaluable. And since it’s Day 3 of #Tashmas, there’s a special gift for you at the end!Wait… What is #Tashmas?I do it for both my birthday (1-12 March) and pre-Christmas (1-12 December) every year! It’s not just about having people to tag at networking events—it’s about sharing real experiences. When you’re building a business, most people around you just won’t get it. Sometimes they don’t know what’s worth celebrating, what needs fixing, or what makes challenges unique. Biz besties, though, do.When you lean on biz besties, you get support and encouragement from people who actually understand what you’re going through. They know what’s tricky, what’s exciting, and what’s worth a happy dance. Plus, they bring practical support: sharing your launch, recommending you to their audience, sending you a connection to the perfect VA, or even just helping you find services you genuinely need....read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/512Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

    #511: Pleasure-First Productivity - #Tashmas Day 2 - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/511Not only am I turning 44 this Tashmas, but my business is also turning 13 in June. I’ve been doing this for a while, and one of the biggest things I’ve learned along the way is how crucial it is to understand what makes me truly productive. Specifically, I’ve discovered that I operate best with “pleasure-first productivity.” If you’re curious about what that means (and maybe even want to try it yourself), this Heart-Centred Business Podcast episode is just for you.PLUS there's a chance to win with this episode of #Tashmas!!Let’s dive into exactly how I use pleasure-first productivity to get things done—and enjoy myself at the same time.Wait… What is #Tashmas?I do it for both my birthday (1-12 March) and pre-Christmas (1-12 December) every year! What Do I Mean by “Pleasure-First Productivity”?Okay, before you picture anything NSFW, let’s clear this up: Pleasure-first productivity isn’t about anything sexual. For me, “pleasure” means anything that feels genuinely good and motivating. It’s that spark of excitement or contentment that can kick off my work, keep me going, or help me bounce back when I’m stuck. If you don’t love the word “pleasure,” I get it. But for my brain, pleasure is the right fit, and you’ll hear me say it a lot in this episode.Unlearning What “Productive” Meant to MeStarting and growing a business has been a huge personal development journey. As time has gone on, I’ve realised just how much society, school, and the workplace conditioned me around productivity. I picked up beliefs about work ethic, showing up, and what’s “worthy.” For a long time, I thought being motivated by pressure, deadlines, or fear of letting people down was just how I worked best....read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/511Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

#510: Quality vs Quantity in Social Media Content - #Tashmas Day 1 - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/510If you’ve been trying to grow your business using social media, you’ve probably noticed the ongoing debate: what should you actually focus on—quality content or quantity of content? Some people swear by just two to three super high-value posts a week. Others say you need to be posting four times a day (even if the quality is questionable). In today’s episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast, I’m going to tell you exactly where I stand on the quality versus quantity in social media content debate and, more importantly, why.PLUS there's a special offer for day 1 of #Tashmas!Wait… What is #Tashmas?I do it for both my birthday (1-12 March) and pre-Christmas (1-12 December) every year! Every day from now until my birthday on 12th March, there will be a new daily podcast episode, with a hot tip or practical strategy as per usual… but you ALSO get a gift! I love sharing the birthday vibes, and what better way to do that?! The daily gift could be a freebie, a special offer, a competition… but there will be something for YOU every single day.Why This Debate Exists in the First PlaceI want to start with why the quality vs quantity in social media content debate even exists. So many people on each side of the fence have built their opinions based on where the algorithms were at a particular time. When I started my business, if you posted more than once a day on your Facebook page, the algorithm would punish you. But then in 2016–2017, Facebook started rewarding pages that posted four or more times a day. Then in 2019, it swung back—posting more than once a day could get you penalised again! If you got great traction during a period when algorithms rewarded frequent posting, you probably swear by quantity. Got your start when fewer high-quality posts were the way to go? You’re a quality champion. The thing is, most advice on quality vs quantity in social media content is based on someone’s experience during a specific algorithm moment. It’s not wrong, but it might not apply right now.Quantity vs Quality in Social Media Content: Where I Honestly StandHere’s where I’m going to be really honest: I favour quantity, but probably not in the way you think. As of right now, yes, the algorithms on Facebook and Instagram seem to favour those who post multiple pieces of content per day. BUT I am absolutely NOT saying that you should just start churning out junk for the algorithm....read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/510Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

This episode is all about understanding your client journey—not just their experience within your business, but their bigger journey in your area of expertise—and using that in your messaging. In this episode, I’m going to walk you through how to make sure your messaging meets people exactly where they are, so your services feel like the logical next step for them.Who Are You Talking To—And When? We’ve all heard the classic advice: if you try to speak to everyone, you end up resonating with no one. It’s usually thrown around when talking about niching, and for good reason! To create a message that lands, you need to know exactly who it’s for.But here’s something most business owners miss—the focus ends up almost entirely on demographics or goals. Yes, it’s great to know what your client wants to achieve or their age bracket, but let’s take it one level deeper.Let’s think about their journey. #507: Niching as a personal brand: The uncomfortable conversation - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/507Niching as a Personal Brand: The Uncomfortable ConversationLet’s talk about a topic that’s pivotal for heart-centred entrepreneurs, but often gets swept under the rug because, honestly, it feels awkward. I want to have an honest conversation with you about niching—especially if you run a personal brand.I’m going to be upfront: recording this episode makes me noticeably uncomfortable! The “niching conversation” comes up for me every single week, and I’ve always preferred to have it privately, one-on-one, where I can tailor my approach to the person in front of me. But right now, my job is to help you, so I’m gathering my bravery and putting it out there.First, What Does “Niching” Even Mean? Some marketing approaches will tell you your niche is just your topic area: relationships, fitness, parenting... I don’t see it that way. For me, and for the purpose of this episode, niching is about WHO you are focused on reaching and speaking to with your marketing. It’s about the specific person you're writing for, the avatar of your ideal client, or that narrow group who most needs your work. It’s not about “what” you do, or your modality (like kinesiology or EFT), or simply helping “anyone who wants kinesiology.” That’s not niching. I want you to get specific about who your marketing is actually trying to reach. ...read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/507Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

#506: Are you resourced enough to sell low-ticket offers? - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/506Are You Resourced Enough to Sell Low-Ticket Offers? In this episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast, I want to answer a question I hear from business owners all the time: are you actually resourced enough to sell low-ticket offers? If you’re in the early stages of business or thinking about adding those lovely little price-point products to your list, this conversation is for you.So many people are drawn to the idea of selling something for $50 or $100—it feels accessible and maybe even passive! But there’s a lot that goes into making this work, and I’m going to walk you through it—all based on a very real, very recent conversation with someone just like you.Why Are So Many People Tempted by Low-Ticket Offers?Over the past few months, I've had a heap of conversations with business owners in my programs, with my VIP clients, and all through DMs and comments. There’s a recurring theme: “What do you think about low-ticket offers, Tash?” Truthfully, I believe any strategy can work if you’re attached to it and willing to make it happen. But there’s a catch—whether or not you have the resources to actually pull it off.Resources aren’t just about how much money you can invest, it’s also the time and energy you’ve got to give, your existing audience, and the strategies you’re using to get visible. For a lot of folks, especially those just starting out, there are simple, juicy ways to set yourself up—and sometimes, trying to force quick profits out of low-ticket offers puts you in a tough spot....read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/506Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

#505: How to sell to friends without it being awkward - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/505How to Sell to Friends Without It Being AwkwardIf you glanced at the episode title before clicking in, you probably felt a bit of awkwardness. Trust me, you’re not alone! On this episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast, I’m diving deep into how to sell to friends – and doing it without all the weird, uncomfortable vibes. We’ve all been there: maybe someone hit you up with an awkward sales pitch for their network marketing or MLM business, and you wished they hadn’t. The idea of selling to friends stirs up memories of those uncomfortable moments. So when you’re told that your first sales will likely come from your own network, how do you make that happen without crossing boundaries or turning into “that person”? Lucky for you, that’s exactly what we’re covering today – and I’ve also got a special offer to help with those first sales! Why Sales Always Felt Awkward to MeLet me be real with you – sales conversations used to make me straight up uncomfortable. Whenever I felt like I was “selling at” someone, or pitching to a friend without knowing how they’d receive it, my body would literally react. I used to get a red rash that started in my cleavage and spread all the way up my neck and face during early sales calls, especially those first few months in business. It was so distracting – I was on video calls, watching this rash go wild, all because I was so uncomfortable with sales. It’s funny now, but back then, it was mortifying. You might think I’ve always been comfortable selling, but the truth is, it's been a learning curve. I still get those awkward feelings, but over time, I’ve designed my own strategy to keep the discomfort at bay....read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/505Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

#504: Online marketing for extraverts - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/504Online Marketing for ExtravertsEven though I’m always open about the fact that I’m an extravert, I know most of my podcasts aim to reassure and support the introverts in my audience. I’m all about inclusion, and I want everyone to feel seen, especially since a lot of the online business space is built with introverts in mind. But in this episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast, I want to speak directly to my fellow extraverts. I don’t think people realise just how hard working online can be for us – especially when connection is what gives us energy. If being around people is your number one battery charger, suddenly working alone from home can be so draining. That’s what I want to talk about today: how extraverts can thrive in online marketing, even when most of the advice out there comes from introverts – and often, for introverts. Why Most Online Business Advice Is Made for IntrovertsI’ve noticed something: so many of the most well-known online business owners are happy, successful introverts. In Australia, we have Denise Duffield-Thomas, Leonie Dawson, Tina Tower, Emily Osmond, and Julie Parker – all introverts. In the US, there’s Rachel Rodgers, Marie Forleo, Amy Porterfield. Honestly, it’s hard to think of extraverted women who are prolific in the online space.A lot of times, people are surprised to find out that folks like Denise are actually introverts because they’re such prolific content creators. But the truth is, the structure of online business – where you can create content from your couch and connect with people digitally – tends to be much more introvert-friendly. You don’t have to be “on” with a crowd of people all day; interaction can be curated and limited.Because of this, it’s easy for extraverts to accidentally build their businesses in an introvert-friendly way, simply because that’s what’s being modeled for them. Suddenly, you realise you’re isolated, feeling low on energy, and missing that face-to-face contact....full article available at: tashcorbin.com/504Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

    #503: Top-down vs bottom-up marketing strategy - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/503Top-down vs Bottom-up Marketing StrategyThere are so many ways to grow a business online, and with all the advice flying around, it’s easy to get lost in strategy-hopping and trying a bit of everything. In today’s episode, I’m diving into something that doesn’t get talked about enough: the difference between top-down and bottom-up marketing strategy. If you’ve never considered these two fundamental approaches—or you’re not sure which one is right for you—this chat will help you figure out how to build a business that feels good and gets momentum. Why Picking a Marketing Approach MattersIt’s totally normal to experiment with different strategies when you’re building a business. But if you’re constantly half-committed to lots of different things, none of them gets the time and energy it needs to work. You end up juggling audience building, offer-creating, social media, and wondering why nothing is really working. Your strategy needs legs—it should feel exciting and fit with your goals, your energy, and your lifestyle.Honestly, any marketing strategy can work. I love tinkering with business models and strategies and have been obsessed with this stuff since I was young. University, consulting, working with thousands of entrepreneurs—trust me, you can make most strategies work, but only if you really commit and finesse the path. But, there are two big-picture methods you need to choose between: top-down and bottom-up strategy. Each comes with its pros, cons, and is a better fit depending on your resources and your goals....full article available at: tashcorbin.com/503Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

#502: Make your marketing strategy work for you - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/502Make Your Marketing Strategy Work for YouOne of the things I absolutely love about my business is the huge variety of people I get to meet. So many different personalities, business strategies, niches, and ways of showing up. Everyone has their own perspective on service and the gap they want to fill. It’s why it’s so frustrating to see people stuck on doing their marketing the same way as everyone else, and struggling to make their marketing strategy work for them. The truth is: your choice of marketing strategy needs to be as unique as you are. So, in today’s episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast, we’re diving into how you can make marketing actually fit YOU — because business gets really fun when your strategy is designed around who you are.Learning From Others… But Making it Your OwnI’ve learned so much from other people, and there are a ton of smart business owners in the world. People have come up with all sorts of creative ways to grow audiences, nurture leads, and make sales. There are even businesses and services out there I didn’t know existed — solutions to problems I hadn’t thought of.But every strategy, model, and tip I hear has to pass through a filter: is this a good fit for me? Not just for my business, but for me as a human. I think this is the piece that’s missing for a lot of people in business. We’re so quick to adopt what someone else is doing, but rarely stop to ask, “Will this actually work for me?”...read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/502Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

#501: Three things I'm doing differently in 2026 and why - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and links available at: tashcorbin.com/501Happy New Year! It’s 2026, and this is the first episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast for the year. I’m so excited to be back and to share a little behind-the-scenes look at three things I’m doing differently in 2026 and—most importantly—why I’m making these changes. My hope is that you’ll leave this episode feeling inspired, with some juicy ideas for your own business.Make sure you also check out the links in the show notes for some special resources mentioned in this episode!Let’s get into the details of what’s changing for me this year...1. I’m Getting Louder, More Prolific, and Even More FocusedThis might sound like a simple resolution to just “show up more,” but it runs much deeper. In the past, whenever I felt inspired to be more vocal in my business, it usually came from wanting to speak up against the more problematic sides of the business world, or to offer an alternative to what I wasn’t happy with in the industry. I wanted to disrupt, to put more money and financial power into the hands of women and marginalised people, and to challenge the narrow definition of who gets to be a successful CEO.Those intentions are still here—but in 2026, things feel different. The energy has shifted. I’m now far more focused on speaking directly to YOU, the individual. I want to help tens of thousands of people build more economic wealth, find and fill the tiny but important gaps in their business strategy, and make small shifts that lead to big results. I’m fired up about helping you leverage your energy and effort in your business—finding those key leverage points where just a little tweak delivers outsized results in your marketing, sales process, offers, or messaging....read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/501Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

#500: I made it to 500 episodes! Answering your questions… - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/500Celebrating the Messy, Joyful, and Real Side of BusinessWelcome, beautiful entrepreneur! I honestly can't believe I’m saying this, but this is episode 500 of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast. Today’s a bit different. I’ve spent the last few weeks collecting your questions for a mega Q&A session. We’ve got a lot to cover, so let’s jump right in!I’ll be mentioning past podcast episodes and sharing free resources as we go, so if something sparks your interest, you can find all of those juicy links below. So, first up—a little honesty. When I posted about approaching 500 episodes and asked for your questions, I didn’t exactly get an avalanche in my inbox. And guess what? That’s totally okay. I share this because I think there are two big lessons here.First: people find it hard to ask questions when you’re vague. I literally said, “Hey, it’s episode 500, ask me anything!” But if you’ve ever been put on the spot, you know: the broader the ask, the harder it is to come up with something specific.Compare that to when I asked for questions about planning and productivity—I got tons more, simply because I gave some context. So, takeaway one: generic questions are tough for people to ask.Second: don’t fall into the trap of making up stories about a slow response. I could have spun it that nobody wanted to hear from me anymore, or that I’d already answered every possible question. But I know people will listen, enjoy, and maybe hear something fresh, even if it’s a question I’ve covered before.Bottom line: don’t make crickets on social media mean more than they do. Even if you see someone with a big audience getting little engagement, it doesn’t mean “nobody cares.” Don’t let that get you down!...read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/500Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

#499: Three times my ego sabotaged my business - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/499Let’s Talk About Ego, Growth, and Getting in Your Own WayThis episode is definitely more personal—maybe even a little vulnerable—but I promise, it’s not as negative as it sounds. I’m going to walk you through three times my ego tried to steer the wheel in my business… and what actually happened as a result. If you see yourself in any of these stories (and I reckon you might!), I hope you’ll find them insightful and maybe even a bit comforting as you navigate your business journey. Why Talk About Ego Sabotage?I want to start by saying I don’t see the ego as all bad. Sometimes, as women or as folks from marginalised communities, we’re told that ego is something negative—something to suppress or avoid. But actually, my ego helps me set big goals, aim for high standards, and challenge myself to do better. That said, in these three specific areas, my ego totally sabotaged my results! Once I could see it clearly, I could do something about it. #498: My top performing posts in 2025 (and what they tell you) - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/498Lessons From a Year of Social ContentI love doing a big review of my social media at the end of each year—what worked, what didn’t, and the lessons I can carry into the next year. Since it’s the end of 2025, I want to share what my best-performing posts have been this year and, importantly, what they teach us about using social media in a heart-centred business. How I Review My Social Media (And Why I Don't Micro-Analyse)Before I dive into my top posts, I want to ask—do you ever review your own top and lowest performing posts? In my business, my fabulous assistant Didi pulls together the top 10 and bottom 3 Facebook posts each month. Facebook is my main platform, so that’s my focus for analysis.I don’t check these every single month. If I did, I’d end up overanalysing, second-guessing myself, and maybe tweaking things that only needed a bit of patience. A quarterly or annual review is so much more useful. It’s where themes and patterns really reveal themselves.Eight Post Types: What Performed Best in 2025I want to walk you through the eight types of posts that landed in my top results for the year—and share what they can teach you about using social....read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/498Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

#497: Business advice shopping - smart or sabotage? - #Tashmas Day 12 - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/497Business Advice Shopping – Smart or Sabotage?Today, we’re talking about whether shopping around for business advice is smart, or if it could actually be sabotaging your success. Spoiler: It’s a bit of both! I want to help you work out when it’s genuinely strategic and when it’s a sneaky form of procrastination or self-doubt.This is also the last day of #Tashmas – day 12! I’ve got a special gift for you at the end of today’s episode, so stick around for that.Wait… What is #Tashmas?I do it for both my birthday (1-12 March) and pre-Christmas (1-12 December) every year! Every day up to the 12th of December, there will be a new daily podcast episode, with a hot tip or practical strategy as per usual… but you ALSO get a gift! The daily gift could be a freebie, a special offer, a competition… but there will be something for YOU every single day.Why Shopping Around Makes Sense (Most of the Time)Let’s be real: not all business mentors, advisors, or coaches are created equal. There is a massive range of pricing, strategies, personalities—everything. You can pay anywhere from $100 to $50,000 for a single session! So yes, most of the time, shopping around, asking questions, and following a few different people is a smart thing to do.For example, when Davey and I first started dating, we went TV shopping together. We went to every TV shop on the Sunshine Coast. After finally buying a TV, we drove past another store Davey had forgotten about... and lo and behold, the perfect TV, $25 cheaper! We returned the first TV just to get the cheaper one. I told my flatmate I wasn’t sure I could date someone who needed to shop around that much—was it a red flag? In the end, Davey even brought up the story at our engagement party as proof he knows the value of shopping around, but it did NOT land well with the crowd. Seriously, people started heckling his speech. (He rescued it with some mushy sentiments, thankfully.)So yes, I’m all for smart shopping around… but there’s a limit. Let’s not go full Davey when it comes to your business! When Shopping Becomes a SabotageHere’s where things get messy: at some point, shopping around for advice or strategy moves from being a wise, empowering move to a way of derailing ourselves. How do you tell when it’s crossed the line? And what if you want to buy something without shopping around—how do you know that’s not sabotage in its own way?Let’s break it down with a few real-life examples and some questions to keep you grounded....read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/497Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

    #496: How I batch create business content - #Tashmas Day 11 - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/496My Stress-Free Content Creation SystemThere’s this common misconception that I spend loads of time creating content for my business. I get it – I produce a lot, and I could talk about just about anything for hours! But here's a secret: I don’t actually spend much time creating content week-to-week. My trick? Batch creating my business content. And I want to break that down for you, because if you’ve ever felt overwhelmed or stuck with your content, this could be a game-changer.This episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast is all about the three (well, four!) simple steps that help me create content in a way that feels easy, organised and even a little bit fun.Plus, I've got something extra for you at the end (#Tashmas is in full swing – don’t miss it!).Wait… What is #Tashmas?I do it for both my birthday (1-12 March) and pre-Christmas (1-12 December) every year! Every day up to the 12th of December, there will be a new daily podcast episode, with a hot tip or practical strategy as per usual… but you ALSO get a gift! The daily gift could be a freebie, a special offer, a competition… but there will be something for YOU every single day.Why I Needed a Better WayIf you’ve been tuning in for a while, you might know that I’m a big fan of finding ways to get into my “creation mode.” But something I haven’t really talked about in detail is how I break up my content creation into separate, clear steps. Here’s what I mean: I used to go back and forth constantly. I'd plan, send things off for SEO, get them back, record, send for editing, do show notes, get it back, then schedule social posts. There were about eight handover points – and that’s eight failure points! I was always the bottleneck. I’d get overwhelmed and things would get stuck. Now? I’ve streamlined everything. I only work on content up to a certain point, then I hand it off to my team and it doesn’t come back. If you don’t have a team, don’t worry – I’ll show you how this can work solo too, just by breaking up the steps. My Four-Part Content Creation ProcessLet’s keep it simple. I break my content process into four steps:IdeationFormationCreationDistributionLet’s walk through each of these....read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/496Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

#495: We can make money in our sleep?! (The MAFS lesson) - #Tashmas Day 10 - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/495We Can Make Money in Our Sleep?! (The MAFS Lesson)This one’s for everyone who’s ever been dazzled by the idea of “making money in your sleep”—and everyone who’s maybe rolled their eyes at it, too! In this episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast, I want us to have a really honest conversation about building an online business, how magical it can be, and why we sometimes lose our sparkle along the way.Spoiler: there’s a special Tashmas gift for you at the end!Wait… What is #Tashmas?I do it for both my birthday (1-12 March) and pre-Christmas (1-12 December) every year! Every day up to the 12th of December, there will be a new daily podcast episode, with a hot tip or practical strategy as per usual… but you ALSO get a gift! The daily gift could be a freebie, a special offer, a competition… but there will be something for YOU every single day.The MAFS Moment: From Hilarious to HonestIf you watched the latest season of Married at First Sight Australia, you’ll know where this starts. Jackie, one of the brides, spent her vows basically reading her CV—it was hilarious and super relatable. Then she threw in: “I even started a side business and I make money in my sleep. I mean, who on earth figures out how to make money in their sleep?” I cringed and laughed so hard at the same time, because I used to be her. That sentence, though! If you’ve been around the online business world, you’ve probably heard it: “make money in your sleep.” And if you’re anything like me, you might not even realise if you’ve become a little jaded about that concept....read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/495Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

#494: How do you generate and sustain motivation in business? - #Tashmas Day 9 - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/494Let’s Get Honest About MotivationToday I want to get real about something we all struggle with, even though it feels like it shouldn’t happen when you’re heart-centred and passionate about what you do: losing motivation in business. If you’ve been feeling a bit off, or you can’t seem to bring yourself to do what matters most in your business, you’re not alone—and it doesn’t mean you’re failing. I’m going to walk you through why it happens and exactly what you can do to generate and sustain motivation in your business, even if your spark feels like it’s disappeared. My aim with every episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast is to help heart-centred entrepreneurs make more money and change the world for the better. Motivation is a real sticking point in that journey, which is why this conversation is so important.PLUS, as always, I have another gift for you for #Tashmas day 9!Wait… What is #Tashmas?I do it for both my birthday (1-12 March) and pre-Christmas (1-12 December) every year! Every day up to the 12th of December, there will be a new daily podcast episode, with a hot tip or practical strategy as per usual… but you ALSO get a gift! The daily gift could be a freebie, a special offer, a competition… but there will be something for YOU every single day.Why Motivation Disappears (and Why It’s Not a Moral Failing)First, I want to be super clear: there are so many valid reasons why motivation can feel hard to come by. Maybe you’ve got stuff going on in your personal life. Maybe business results aren’t what you hoped for. Perhaps you’re overloaded, or you’re dealing with burnout, health issues, hormones, neurodivergence, or external factors that throw you off course.I know for myself, positive feedback on my content really boosts my motivation—but I also want to show up no matter what. The tricky thing here is that, as heart-centred entrepreneurs, our sense of motivation can feel deeply connected to our purpose. So, when motivation drops, it can feel like we’re failing—not just as business owners, but as people. That’s just not true. Feeling unmotivated doesn’t make you bad or lazy. Everyone experiences it. If someone tells you they’ve NEVER struggled to stay motivated, I honestly think they’re lying. So let’s ditch that guilt....read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/494Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

#493: Bots and AI slop have done us a favour - #Tashmas Day 8 - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/493Bots and AI Slop Have Done Us a FavourI know this might be a bit of a hot take, but I honestly believe that all the bot-driven and AI-generated clutter in our social media feeds is actually doing us a favour as online business owners. Before we get into it, let’s start with an easy place of agreement: Our feeds are stuffed full of content we just don’t want—especially the kind I call “AI slop.” It’s content designed to get your attention, distract you, and keep you scrolling, but it doesn’t actually give you anything valuable. Sometimes it’s engagement bait, rage bait, or pure opinion bait, but it doesn’t have to be. Even the bot-generated, automated stuff has changed our social media experience—and I know I’m not alone in hating it. But that’s not my controversial take. My real hot take? All this has actually created new opportunities for us.Let’s break down what’s really going on, what we can do about it, and why being human has never mattered more.PLUS for #Tashmas day 8, I have another special bonus.Wait… What is #Tashmas?I do it for both my birthday (1-12 March) and pre-Christmas (1-12 December) every year! Every day up to the 12th of December, there will be a new daily podcast episode, with a hot tip or practical strategy as per usual… but you ALSO get a gift! The daily gift could be a freebie, a special offer, a competition… but there will be something for YOU every single day.The Impact of AI Content and Bot AccountsFirst things first, the insane amount of AI content and the rise of bot accounts have made it so much harder for us to truly connect as humans on social media. And, yes, this is a big deal for small business owners trying to grow organically. We’re not just putting out content into the void—we’re up against content designed by AI just to suck people in.If you’re starting out, building a following can feel impossible. Sometimes when you post, it feels like only bots see the content. And, because I’ve started my business and my Facebook page back in 2013, I need to acknowledge the privilege that comes with a 12-year head start.A lot of the advice out there—especially what you might hear from people with big audiences—simply doesn’t work for people just starting. What got results 6–8 years ago, or works if you already have traction, often does nothing for a newbie with zero reach. That’s why, in the Take Off program, I make it my business to keep up with what works for people starting from scratch—no built-in audience, no head start, nothing. And let’s be honest, getting seen online now means competing with a crowded, bot-filled space....read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/493Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

#492: Is it really shiny object syndrome? - #Tashmas Day 7 - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/492If you've ever found yourself frustrated, thinking “Ugh, here I go again, chasing another shiny object…” then this episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast is for you! I’ve noticed so many entrepreneurs mislabeling natural creativity and ideation as Shiny Object Syndrome, which isn’t always accurate—and can actually slow down your progress. Let’s clear up what Shiny Object Syndrome really is, how it impacts your focus, and most importantly, how you can channel your brilliant ideas in ways that support your business without driving yourself up the wall. It's also #Tashmas day 7, so I have another gift for you with this episode!Wait… What is #Tashmas?I do it for both my birthday (1-12 March) and pre-Christmas (1-12 December) every year! Every day up to the 12th of December, there will be a new daily podcast episode, with a hot tip or practical strategy as per usual… but you ALSO get a gift! The daily gift could be a freebie, a special offer, a competition… but there will be something for YOU every single day. What Is Shiny Object Syndrome Anyway? The classic version of Shiny Object Syndrome looks like this: you set out to run a webinar, you get started, and then something catches your attention (“Webinars are dead! Do a five-day challenge!”) and you ditch the webinar before it’s finished. Halfway through the challenge, a new trend pops up (“You need a low-ticket course!”) and you start that instead, also without wrapping up the challenge. The key here is lack of completion. It’s the jumping from one thing to another, always on the hunt for something shinier—and never actually finishing the first thing. There are a few reasons this happens:Comparisonitis (comparing yourself constantly with others)Getting stuck in consumption mode (endless podcasts, newsletters, YouTube, reels, but not creating)Fear of success or visibility (right when you’re picking up momentum, something makes you want to run and hide)Perfectionism (always almost done, but not “good enough” to finish and launch)... read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/492Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

#491: All this anti-hustle content has gone too far! - #Tashmas Day 6 - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/491Why We Need a More Balanced Approach to ‘Anti-Hustle’Do you ever feel like the anti-hustle content online has swung too far in one direction? Maybe you’re comparing your work style or hours to the “behind-the-scenes” stories we see on Instagram and Facebook, and you’re left exhausted. Or you’re wondering if you should work less, or hustle more. Today, I want to break down how the pendulum between hustle and anti-hustle can actually get in the way of building a heart-centred business, and how to find your sweet spot—one that feels good to you.PLUS it's #Tashmas day 6, so I have another gift for you with this episode!Wait… What is #Tashmas?I do it for both my birthday (1-12 March) and pre-Christmas (1-12 December) every year! Every day up to the 12th of December, there will be a new daily podcast episode, with a hot tip or practical strategy as per usual… but you ALSO get a gift! The daily gift could be a freebie, a special offer, a competition… but there will be something for YOU every single day.The Comparison Trap: How Social Media Changes Our View of WorkWith everyone sharing glimpses into their days online, it’s so easy to fall into the “comparison game.” Sometimes, I see business owners with jam-packed daily agendas and think, “WOW, I’m exhausted just looking at that!” I mean, I have no desire to model my business or life after constant busyness. But here’s the curveball: there’s another group of people online who make it look like they barely work at all, and yet their business seems to rake in multi-million dollar incomes. After meeting dozens of successful business owners at masterminds and at the Heart-Centred Business Conference, I can honestly say there’s often a lot more happening behind the scenes than what gets posted online. Sometimes people are intentionally sharing the highlights—the easy money, the beach trips, the “effortless” wins. And sometimes they just don’t feel like sharing the tough bits, or the times when things are messy and unglamorous. Here’s my tip: remember, you’re only seeing the highlights reel. #490: Is your desire to help more people actually sabotaging your business? - #Tashmas Day 5 - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/490Is Your Desire to Help More People Actually Sabotaging Your Business? If you’re tuning into the Heart-Centred Business Podcast, chances are you’re a generous soul—you genuinely want to help people with your business. It’s one of the things I absolutely love about this community. But what if your desire to help as many people as possible is actually holding your business back? Yep, we’re diving deep into that today.AND I have a super special offer for you with this episode of #Tashmas... it's a special VIP ascending offer!Wait… What is #Tashmas?I do it for both my birthday (1-12 March) and pre-Christmas (1-12 December) every year! Business owners want accessible pricing, less financial pressure on clients, and more nurturing all around. Honestly, it’s a beautiful thing, and I wish some of the big corporations would learn a thing or two from us!I’m the same—I want to help as many people as I can. In the Sacred Money Archetypes, ‘Nurturer’ comes up as my third-highest trait. So, I get it. I LOVE generous humans, and I love watching this play out in our community. But here’s the sticky bit: If you’re not strategic with your generosity, your own drive to help more people might be the exact reason you’re limiting how many people you actually get to help....full article available at: tashcorbin.com/490Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

#489: Why does Ryan give me so much motivation? Podcarpet - #Tashmas Day 4 - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/489Today, I’m sitting on the carpet for a super personal and intimate episode — it’s a Podcarpet episode here on the Heart-Centred Business Podcast. For these special episodes, I quite literally sit on the carpet in my craft room. Imagine us together, surrounded by yarn and crochet, just chatting like business besties. And not only is it a Podcarpet episode, it’s also a part of #Tashmas (yes, there’s a gift for you too!).So, why am I on the carpet today? I want to talk about Ryan. Ryan started as a real person but is now more of a fictional character — a symbol for a particular kind of entrepreneur. Today, I’m opening up about why thinking about Ryan actually motivates me these days.Plus, your day 4 #Tashmas gift is my Skyrocket Sales course for just $50 AUD!Wait… What is #Tashmas?I do it for both my birthday (1-12 March) and pre-Christmas (1-12 December) every year! Every day up to the 12th of December, there will be a new daily podcast episode, with a hot tip or practical strategy as per usual… but you ALSO get a gift! The daily gift could be a freebie, a special offer, a competition… but there will be something for YOU every single day.The "Ryan" Archetype: Where He Came FromFirst, let me be clear: Ryan is now a fictional creation. He's become a mashup of men I’ve encountered in the online business and marketing space — especially those "hustle bros" you see everywhere. Back in 2013 and 2014, there was a real Ryan in my business circles, but I haven’t heard anything about him since 2015, maybe 2016. So now, “Ryan” has become shorthand for the marketers and coaches (usually men) who have that “it’s so easy, why aren’t you making a million already?” attitude. These hustle bros fall into a few clear stereotypes. They tend to overpromise and underdeliver, focus solely on numbers and dollars, and never talk about what happens after the sale — like, is the buyer actually getting the outcome they were promised? Usually, everything’s about self-gain.And while I’m definitely not anti-men (hello, male fiancé!), it’s just that this group in business is particularly memorable because of their style and approach. If someone doesn’t fit the stereotype, it’s obviously not about them!...full article available at: tashcorbin.com/489Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

    #488: Are you a BAD DATE? The Facebook analogy I almost didn't share… - #Tashmas Day 3 - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Complete article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/488Let’s talk about social media strategy—but with a twist. In this episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast, I’m diving into a dating analogy that I almost didn’t use. I’m comparing how we show up on platforms like Facebook to how we act when we’re dating, and trust me, it’s an eye-opener. Whether you love or hate social media right now, thinking about it this way might help you get more out of whatever platform you’re using.I nearly left this topic alone. Dating analogies can feel a bit loaded—especially with everything going on in the world recently—but I couldn’t ignore how much sense it made when explaining things to my clients and program participants. Are you ready to look at your behaviour on social media? Especially Facebook? This applies to Instagram, TikTok, or wherever you’re trying to build an audience, but I’ll focus on Facebook as the main example since most of my audience spends their time there.PLUS I have a fabulous gift for you for #Tashmas today—you have the chance to win a 90-minute VIP session with me!Wait… What is #Tashmas?I do it for both my birthday (1-12 March) and pre-Christmas (1-12 December) every year! Every day up to the 12th of December, there will be a new daily podcast episode, with a hot tip or practical strategy as per usual… but you ALSO get a gift! The daily gift could be a freebie, a special offer, a competition… but there will be something for YOU every single day.Let's get into it...Are You a Bad Date for Your Platform?Let’s start here. Are you a bad date for Facebook? Think about how you interact with Facebook when you’re trying to build a relationship with your main social platform. If you spot a single flaw, do you start looking elsewhere? Maybe another platform seems more attractive, so you try to hedge your bets and dabble in multiple places at once.I’m not saying you can’t date more than one platform, but are you really giving any of them a fair shot at building a real relationship with you? Are you present, or are you always keeping an eye out for something "better" as soon as trouble appears? What I see a lot is people trying a little bit of everything, half-heartedly, across several platforms and strategies. Nothing really gains traction, and then those platforms get blamed for being ineffective—rather than recognising that attention and consistency are missing....full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/488Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

#487: My tough-love statement that quadrupled her best month - #Tashmas Day 2 - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Complete article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/487As far as business coaches go, I’m known for being pretty gentle. I know what it’s like to juggle chronic illness, care for a loved one, and just navigate the chaos of everyday life. But in this episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast, I’m sharing the story of how a little bit of tough love transformed one of my Take Off students' business—and led her to quadruple her best-ever income month.Even though this sounds like “tough love,” I promise I’ll keep it gentle, full of practical advice, and, as always, heart-centred. The daily gift could be a freebie, a special offer, a competition… but there will be something for YOU every single day.Let's dive in!!Why Your Business Needs You to Be Proactive About LeadsLet’s go back to April, when I ran a special event for my Take Off program students. From time to time, I host intensive coaching sessions whenever I spot a common challenge in the group. This time, I noticed a lot of people were struggling with getting consistent leads—those folks who are actually interested in working with you, a step away from buying your offer. Before you get hung up on follower counts or mailing list size, remember: those numbers don’t directly correlate with your sales. Having people to talk to, asking them questions, and really finding out what they need—that’s what leads to income and refines your messaging as well. The Tough Love MomentDuring my Leads at Speed workshop, a phrase just popped out of me (those genius moments, right?). Here it is:“If the only leads you’re getting are people asking you, then you’re not being proactive enough about drumming up leads in your business.”...continue reading and access full show notes at: tashcorbin.com/487Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

Back in 2019, she was thinking about joining my Take Off program to get her business off the ground. We had a chat, and I was so blown away by what she does, I almost hired her on the spot! But here’s the thing: she only wanted to sell low-ticket offers—like $95 courses—instead of working one-on-one.In the Take Off program, we focus on high-ticket, VIP-style work and learning how to actually sell and deliver those offers. So, I recommended that Take Off probably wasn’t the right fit for her at that stage, since she didn’t want to go the high-ticket route. She didn’t join, and I ended up hiring someone else one-on-one for the help I needed.Flash forward to May this year. I see Katie pop up in my feed again after ages of silence, so I reached out to say hi. She’d taken some time off, but she was coming back to her business and even considering Take Off again. We had a catch-up Zoom call, and after we talked, I realised there are some BIG reasons I—and so many others—want to buy high-ticket, one-on-one offers from people I follow. This episode was born from that very conversation (with an awesome update about Katie at the end)....read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/486Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference

#485: My 3 favourite business productivity strategies - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and links available at: tashcorbin.com/485If you’re an online business owner who’s ever wondered: “How on earth does she get so much done?”—this one’s for you! There’s a big myth out there that you need to work crazy hours to be productive, and honestly… that perception has followed me for years. The truth? I’m working around 20 hours a week right now, sometimes less. People look at me, see all the content, and assume I must be hustling behind the scenes. Today on the Heart-Centred Business Podcast, I want to share exactly how I structure my business life to get more done without more hours—and actually enjoy it.Before we dive in, I want to give a bit of context on who I am, because, let’s be real—my productivity strategies didn’t come from being naturally organised. Quite the opposite! I’m scattered, a little messy, and very much neurodivergent (hello, ADHD!). I work on the floor, surrounded by unfinished craft projects, random parcels, and art books tracking my income and podcast progress. I’ve had to build systems and routines that actually work for my wild brain—instead of fighting against it.I struggled for so many years, believing everyone else just had it together—perfect workflows, fancy project management… you know, the stuff that never really worked for me. Turns out, a lot of productivity advice floats around that’s designed for different brains. Much of it comes from men, for men, and a lot is mapped onto neurotypical brains—it doesn’t always work for everyone. So if you’re a creative, neurodivergent person, or just a bit “loosey goosey” in your approach, take heart! These strategies are here to work for you, not change you. My whole philosophy is that you don’t need to become someone else—you need structures that suit your actual life and brain....read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/485Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!Join us in Noosa at the Heart-Centred Business Conference in September!Find out more and secure your ticket at: tashcorbin.com/conference
