The assassination of Charlie Kirk shook our nation. In Michigan, a church was burned to the ground. In Nigeria, brothers and sisters in Christ continue to suffer relentless persecution. These events aren’t just headlines, they confront us with a sobering question: What does it really mean to follow Jesus when the cost is this high? In this episode, I open Mark 8:31–9:1 and ask the hard but necessary question: Is Jesus worth dying for? Together, we’ll talk about what it looks like to move from fear to faith, from silence to boldness, and from comfort to carrying the cross.
