The Reclaimed Woman I Christian, Identity, Purpose, Life Coaching

Have you ever thought…“I don’t even recognize myself anymore.”“I’ve been everything for everyone… but who am I now?”“Is it too late for me to dream again?”“How do I reconnect with God — and myself?”If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone — and this space is for you.Welcome to The Reclaimed Woman podcast.Hey friend, I’m Christi — wife, mom, and follower of Jesus. After years of holding it all together for everyone else, I hit a breaking point. I had lost my identity, my spark, and honestly, my connection with God.One summer, I found myself on the back porch — in my PJ’s, coffee in one hand, Bible and journal in the other — crying out for answers. And God met me there. In that sacred space, He revealed something powerful:He showed me I wasn’t beyond repair. I was just buried beneath expectations, exhaustion, and fear. And it was time to reclaim what was always mine — my identity, my voice, and my purpose. This podcast is for the woman who’s ready to rise again.  To do the

40 | Daughter Beyond Roles: Are You Living From Your Identity — or Just Your Title?

Friend, I want to ask you something and I want you to really sit with it. What would happen to your sense of self if tomorrow, one of your most important roles just... changed? Not disappeared. Not failed. Just shifted. An empty nest. A ministry transition. A marriage that looks different than it used to. A job that ended or a season that closed. For so many of the women I talk to, the answer is terrifying because somewhere along the way, the role became the identity. And that is exactly what we are unpacking in today's episode. Because here is the truth I had to learn the hard way: you are not your title. You are not your usefulness. You are not what you produce, what you lead, or how well you hold it all together. You are a daughter of God  and every other thing you carry is downstream of that one truth.   In this episode, I'm sharing how to separate your God-given identity from the roles you carry  so you can stop living in quiet identity crisis every time a season changes, and start living as a reclaimed woman who knows exactly who she is, no matter what title she holds (or loses). This one is for the woman who has poured herself so completely into a role  mom, wife, ministry leader, business owner, the capable one  that she honestly is not sure who she is without it. This episode will name the pattern, show you what Scripture says, and give you practical tools to rebuild on a foundation that cannot be shaken.   Key Scriptures Referenced: Ephesians 2:10 — identity before activity Galatians 3:26 — sons and daughters of God through faith, not performance Romans 8:15–16 — the Holy Spirit testifies that you are God's child Luke 10:41–42 — Jesus confronts Martha not for serving, but for serving from anxiety   Free Resources: → Free 5 Day RISE & Reset (Start Here) Day 1 walks you through the exact identity reclaiming work from this episode naming the throne-squatters, writing your Identity in Christ Statement, and beginning to live from the foundation that cannot be shaken.   Work With Me: → Book a Reclaimed Clarity Call 60 minutes. 39 | God’s Voice or Guilt? How to Know When to Say Yes or No (Christian Discernment Guide)

There’s a quiet shift that happens when you stop letting pressure make your decisions. A lot of women have been taught that always saying yes means you’re loving, faithful, and available but that’s not always obedience. Obedience sounds quieter. Slower. More intentional. And it will often lead you to say no when others expect yes and yes when it doesn’t make sense to anyone else. In this episode, I’m sharing what it really means to let God govern your yes and your no so you can walk in biblical obedience, spiritual discernment, and peace instead of guilt-driven decisions. We’re breaking down how many Christian women unintentionally live from pressure, people-pleasing, and fear of disappointing others and how that slowly pulls you away from what God actually asked you to do. I also walk you through a real-life moment in my own marriage where I had to pause, pray, and stand firm in a no even when it wasn’t received well. Not from rebellion, but from obedience. Because here’s the truth: Every yes costs something. Every no protects something. And when your decisions are led by God instead of guilt, everything changes your peace, your clarity, and your alignment with His will. This episode will help you: Stop confusing pressure with obedience Build discernment before decision-making Learn how to pause and pray before responding Walk in confidence when saying no without guilt Create a rhythm where your availability is led by God not people Connecting with Me  Contact → helloChristiRatcliff.com/podcast Instagram → @christi_ratcliff_coaching Resources → ChristiRatcliff.com/rise   Next Steps: Step 1: Start pausing before every decision this week and ask, “Lord, is this my yes or my no?” Step 2: Download the 5 Day RISE & Reset to begin strengthening your spiritual discernment and obedience Step 3: If you need help applying this in real life, book a Reclaimed Clarity Call for personal coaching support

38 | Why Christian Women Struggle to Hear God (Biblical Discernment for People-Pleasers)

There was a season where I loved God deeply… but I still kept missing His voice. Not because He wasn’t speaking, but because I had trained everyone else to get my yes before I ever went to Him. The pressure to respond quickly, to be helpful, to be “a good Christian woman” can get loud. And over time, that noise can quietly replace discernment.   In this episode, I’m sharing how to hear God’s voice clearly as a Christian woman, even when life feels loud and everyone has an opinion so you can stop people-pleasing, grow in biblical discernment, and confidently make decisions led by the Holy Spirit. We’re talking about what happens when you’ve unknowingly outsourced your discernment to others, your husband, your family, your church and how that slowly disconnects you from your own relationship with God. I walk you through Scripture (Matthew 6:33, John 16:13, James 1:5) and show you how God already gave you everything you need to hear Him clearly. You’ll also learn how the RISE framework helps you retrain your responses so that seeking God first becomes your default not an afterthought. This is for the woman who loves God… but knows she’s been saying yes too quickly, second-guessing herself, or relying on other voices more than His.   Resources and Links  ✨ Grab the Free 5 Day RISE & Reset 👉 ChristiRatcliff.com/rise (Day 2: “Where Is Your Yes Going?”) ✨ Book a Reclaimed Clarity Call 👉 ChristiRatcliff.com ✨ Key Scriptures referenced: Matthew 6:33 — Seek first the Kingdom John 16:13 — The Holy Spirit guides into truth James 1:5 — Ask God for wisdom ✨ Related Topics You May Love: 37 | Throne Audit: What’s Ruling Your Life? 37 | Throne Audit: What’s Ruling Your Life? Breaking Idols & Putting God First

You don’t drift into putting God first, you decide it. Somewhere along the way, something good may have taken God’s place without you even noticing. A full calendar, constant “yeses,” and quiet pressure can slowly crown something else as ruler of your life.   In this episode, I’m walking you through a personal “throne audit” so you can identify what’s truly ruling your heart and reclaim God’s rightful place in your life. This isn’t about shame, it’s about clarity. I share a real moment from my own life when God revealed that even good things family, ministry, responsibilities had taken turns sitting where only He belongs. Through Scripture and the RISE framework, I’ll guide you in recognizing modern-day idols, making a clear decision to surrender them, and stepping into obedience with confidence. If you’ve been feeling stretched, overwhelmed, or disconnected from your purpose, this is your invitation to reset. 36 | How to Grow Spiritually by Trusting God First Every Day | Christian Identity & Purpose

Trust in God is something many Christian women desire, but in the middle of busy lives, responsibilities, and emotional stress, it can feel difficult to know what practical trust actually looks like. In this episode of The Reclaimed Woman Podcast, I walk through the biblical path of trusting God in everyday life  not just in theory, but in real decisions, reactions, and priorities. As you listen, take a moment to reflect on these areas:  When something stressful happens, where do you instinctively go first,  to God, your thoughts, or outside opinions?  Are you anchoring your thinking in Scripture when anxiety rises, or allowing fear and emotion to lead your decisions?  When the Holy Spirit nudges you toward forgiveness, humility, or obedience, do you respond quickly  or do you delay? These small, daily decisions reveal where trust is truly being placed. In this episode, I bring together the biblical story we’ve been exploring over the last few weeks and show you how to trust God in practical, daily ways. From the Garden of Eden to the Cross, Scripture shows us that trust has always been at the center of our relationship with God. And today, that same invitation still stands for us. But trust is not abstract theology. It’s a daily posture. Go to God first before reacting to stress Anchor your thinking in Scripture before fear gets loud Respond in obedience when the Holy Spirit leads Refuse to romanticize the past when God has made you new Accept that faith and obedience will stretch your comfort I also introduce the RISE Framework, a biblical pathway I teach in my Christian life coaching for women. This framework helps Christian women move from overwhelm and scattered priorities to a Kingdom-minded life anchored in identity, courage, and obedience. If you’ve been wanting a deeper understanding of how to trust God daily, this episode will give you simple, scriptural steps to begin. Next Steps Step 1 Begin practicing one small act of trust this week. Before reacting to stress, pause and pray: “Lord, I trust You. Show me my next step.” Step 2 Continue growing in your Christian mindset, faith, and obedience by listening to previous episodes of The Reclaimed Woman Podcast. Step 3 If you’re ready for deeper guidance and clarity, apply for the Reclaimed Life Coaching Intensive, where we walk through the RISE Framework together and bring alignment to identity, priorities, relationships, and the culture of your home.

35 | Restored Trust from Eden to the Cross: A Biblical Story of Christian Identity & Purpose

Mistrust entered the world in a garden. Autonomy replaced dependence. A hand reached instead of surrendered. But Scripture does not end in Eden. This episode walks us from Eden to Gethsemane, from the first Adam to the Second Adam, from grasping to surrender. The story of the Bible is not just the story of spiritual mistrust. It is the story of covenant restoration through Jesus Christ. If Episode 34 revealed how mistrust fractures our faith, this episode reveals how biblical trust is restored through Christ’s obedience. This is about more than theology. It is about reclaiming confidence in God’s goodness. It is about learning to trust Him in suffering, uncertainty, and surrender. In this episode, I’m walking you through how Jesus succeeded where Adam failed, so you can live anchored in restored trust instead of spiritual fear. We revisit: 🌿 The First Adam — A Hand That Grasped 🌿 The Second Garden — Gethsemane 🌿 The Wilderness Revisited ✝️ The Cross — The Ultimate Act of Trust 🔥 The Disciples — Trust Without Visible Guarantees 💎 Stephen — Glory in the Stones 🔔 Paul — Trust Built on Encounter and the Spirit   This episode is for the Christian woman wrestling with doubt, walking through suffering, or rebuilding trust in God after disappointment. 34 | Spiritual Growth Starts With Trust: A Christian Path to Purpose and Identity

You’ve tried to move forward with God. But something in your heart keeps hesitating. You’ve experienced His provision before… yet fear still whispers that you must secure things yourself. You know He is leading… but part of you still longs for what felt safer, even if it wasn’t better. In this episode, I’m uncovering the true root of humanity’s spiritual fracture, mistrust in God’s character  so you can recognize how that same pattern still shapes our decisions today. We walk through powerful Old Testament moments that reveal what happens when trust erodes: Eden, the wilderness, the golden calf, Lot’s wife, and the repeated cycles of running ahead, looking back, or freezing in fear. This isn’t just biblical history, it’s a spiritual mirror. If you’ve ever wrestled with control, impatience, fear of the unknown, or longing for what God already called you out of… this episode will help you see the deeper issue beneath it all. Because the first lie humanity believed was not that God was weak. It was that He was withholding. And when trust breaks, everything else follows. This episode will help you: Understand mistrust as the root of disobedience in Scripture Recognize modern “golden calves” like control, busyness, and self-reliance See how fear, impatience, and nostalgia all flow from doubting God’s goodness Begin rebuilding trust in God’s character through biblical understanding   Next Steps Step 1: Join our supportive community of Christian Women learning to rebuild trust in God and walk in spiritual maturity. 33 | Trust Isn’t a Feeling—It’s a Decision Every Christian Make

Saying “I trust God” while your mind is still spinning with contingency plans. Confessing faith on Sunday but carrying anxiety by Monday morning. Calling it trust when what you really want is emotional relief. Many Christian women aren’t struggling with belief. They’re struggling with surrender. In this episode, I’m dismantling the emotional misunderstanding of trust and redefining biblical trust as a decision rooted in God’s unchanging character so you can stop waiting to feel peaceful and start living anchored in faith. This conversation is for the Christian woman who loves God deeply but still wrestles with anxiety, control, disappointment, or fear of being hurt again. We walk through what Scripture actually says about trusting God, why trust feels difficult after betrayal or loss, and how to release control without losing stability. We anchor in Proverbs 3:5–6, Hebrews 13:8, Psalm 20:7, and Isaiah 26:3 to uncover a powerful truth: Trust is not emotional comfort. It is covenant confidence. Inside this episode, we cover: The difference between biblical trust and emotional reassurance Why trust and control cannot coexist How to stop leaning on your own understanding What trusting God looks like in real life How to experience peace through trust in God The connection between surrender, obedience, and spiritual maturity Letting go of fear and anchoring in God’s character If you’ve been searching for how to trust God in difficult seasons, how to surrender control as a Christian woman, or how to find peace in uncertainty, this episode will ground you. 32 | Surrender: Your Christian Identity in Warfare

Surrender has been misrepresented to women for far too long. What was meant to lead us into freedom has often been used to keep us silent, tired, or spiritually stuck. You may resonate with this episode if you’ve ever felt like: Surrender meant losing your voice, your strength, or your discernment “Just surrender it to God” sounded dismissive instead of biblical You’ve carried responsibility, control, or pressure that God never assigned you You’ve confused obedience with passivity or endurance with holiness In this episode, I’m reframing surrender through a biblical lens and exposing the lie that surrender is weakness, passivity, or defeat. We’re grounding this conversation in Scripture and truth to reveal surrender as an active posture of spiritual warfare, one that restores peace, clarity, authority, and alignment under God’s rule. We explore: Why surrender has been misunderstood and misused in Christian spaces What surrender actually means according to Scripture (Romans 12:1) How Jesus modeled true surrender as strength and obedience in Gethsemane Why surrender feels threatening for women who have learned survival, control, or over-responsibility The divine order of submission before resistance (James 4:7) What surrender is not and how spiritual compromise disguises itself as humility What surrender looks like practically in everyday faith and obedience This is for the woman who wants to walk in spiritual authority, not burnout who longs for alignment instead of striving and who is ready to stop calling survival faith. Resources and Scripture Mentioned Romans 12:1 (NIV) — Surrender as worship and offering Luke 22:42 (NIV) — Jesus in Gethsemane: obedience before authority James 4:1–12 (NIV) — Submission, humility, and resisting the enemy James 4:7 (NIV) — “Submit yourselves, then, to God. It is the beginning of a rightly ordered life under God’s authority. You were never meant to carry your life alone. You were meant to steward it, submitted, anchored, and secure in Him. Surrender doesn’t ask what you must lose. It reveals what you were never meant to carry. That is where freedom begins.

31 | Finding Freedom: Obedience, Purpose, and Identity

Obedience has been framed as something that costs you your freedom, your joy, your desires. For many women, obedience has felt heavy instead of life-giving. Somewhere along the way, relationship was replaced with rules, and freedom was confused with restriction. In this episode of The Reclaimed Woman Podcast, I’m unpacking one of the most misunderstood ideas in the Christian walk that obedience to God is restrictive rather than relational. We walk through Scripture to see how Jesus defines obedience, why Paul fiercely defended freedom in Christ, and how Spirit-led obedience actually releases us from fear, control, striving, and self-protection. This conversation is for the woman who loves God but secretly feels like obedience has required her to shrink, settle, or suppress who she is. You’ll hear how biblical obedience is not about earning God’s love, but responding to it and how true freedom is found on the other side of surrender. If you’ve ever wrestled with control, fear, or disordered desires, this episode invites you into alignment instead of striving, and peace instead of pressure.   Scripture References (NIV): John 14:15 — Obedience as a response to love Galatians 5:1 — Freedom in Christ, not a return to bondage Romans 7:22 — Delight in God’s law through the Spirit Hebrews 12:1 — Throwing off what entangles Psalm 119:45 & 47 — Walking in freedom through God’s commands Referenced Teaching & Themes: Freedom in Christ vs. works-based religion The role of the flesh vs. the Spirit Obedience as protection, not punishment Matthew Henry’s commentary on Psalm 119   Connect with Me: Website: https://www.christiratcliff.com/ Podcast: The Reclaimed Woman Podcast (Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Podbean) Instagram: @christi_ratcliff_coaching   Next Steps:Step 1: Spend time this week identifying one area where God has already been inviting your obedience—and choose to say yes. 30 | Well Done or Well Known? A Christian Identity Built on Faithfulness, Not Applause

We live in a world that constantly measures success by visibility, growth, and applause. It’s easy to feel pressure to prove your worth by being seen, celebrated, or recognized even in your faith walk. But there is a quieter, deeper invitation from God that asks us to measure our lives by faithfulness, not fame. In this foundational episode of the Legacy Shift Series, I’m reframing how we define success as Christian women. This conversation is for the woman who is faithful behind the scenes, serving, obeying, and showing up even when no one notices. We’re diving into what Scripture actually says about success, approval, and legacy, using Matthew 25 and other key biblical passages to remind us that heaven’s measure has never been visibility. It’s faithfulness. This episode will help you release the pressure to be “well known” and re-anchor your heart in the eternal goal of hearing God say, “Well done.” It’s an invitation to live for eternity, not applause and to trust that what is hidden with Christ is never wasted. Main themes covered: Faithfulness vs. recognition in the Christian life Why God values obedience over visibility How eternity reshapes daily decisions The danger of the applause trap in modern Christian culture What it truly means to build a lasting legacy Key Bible Passages: Matthew 25:14–30 | The Parable of the Gold Bags Matthew 25:21 (NIV) Luke 18:42 Luke 7:50 Matthew 6:1 Colossians 3:1–4 Luke 16:10 Psalm 90:12 Referenced Commentary: Matthew Henry’s Concise Commentary on Colossians 3:1–4 Related Listening: Previous episodes in The Reclaimed Woman Podcast focused on obedience, surrender, and eternal perspective Connect with Christi: Podcast: The Reclaimed Woman Podcast (available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Podbean) Instagram: @christi_ratcliff_coaching   Next Steps: Choose one unseen act of obedience this week and offer it to God alone. What God has healed, restored, and reclaimed in you was never meant to stay private or comfortable. 2026 marks a transition from learning and healing into living sent, surrendered, and obedient for the glory of God. In this episode, I’m commissioning reclaimed women to step into 2026 with intention, obedience, and faithful stewardship. This is not a teaching or a challenge.  It’s a spiritual sending. We talk about identity before assignment, authority with responsibility, and why obedience and stewardship are the defining call of this new year. 28 | Reclaimed to Commissioned: Walking in God’s Purpose for 2026

This past year has been sacred ground. God has been gently, and sometimes boldly reclaiming hearts, renewing minds, and restoring what once felt lost. This episode is a holy pause before we step into 2026  a moment to recognize that what God reclaimed, He also intends to commission. You were never meant to be rescued and then returned to the same cycles. You were reclaimed so you could live fully surrendered, Spirit-led, and anchored in truth. In this special recap episode of The Reclaimed Woman, I’m reflecting on the spiritual journey we’ve walked together  from identity and authority, to healing, freedom, and surrender  and inviting you forward into a life fully devoted to God in 2026. We revisit the foundation of who you are as a daughter of God, why authority flows from your position in Christ, and how fear loses its grip when truth becomes your agreement. We talk honestly about patterns, inner healing, confession, cleansing, and the freedom that comes through Jesus, not through striving or perfection, but through surrender. This is for the woman who knows God has done a deep work in her and senses He’s calling her into more. Not more doing. More devotion. More obedience. More availability. This is about moving from being reclaimed… to being commissioned.   Key Scriptures Referenced: Romans 8:15 — Adoption, freedom from fear 1 John 3:1 — Identity as God’s daughter Ephesians 2:6 — Seated with Christ Luke 10:19 — Authority in Christ 2 Timothy 1:7 — Power, love, sound mind Isaiah 41:10 — God’s presence and strength John 8:32 — Truth that brings freedom Romans 7:15–25 — Patterns, struggle, and deliverance 1 John 1:9 — Confession and cleansing James 5:16 — Healing through confession Psalm 51:10 — Renewal of the heart Romans 8:1 — No condemnation Luke 10:41–42 — Presence over performance Colossians 2:6–7 — Rooted and built up in Christ Romans 12:1 — Living fully surrendered to God Explore More & Go Deeper: Learn more about coaching, mentorship, and resources at ChristiRatcliff.com Share this episode with a woman who’s ready to step into a Spirit-led life in 2026 Next Steps: Step 1: Share this episode with another woman who’s ready to live fully surrendered to God Step 2: Spend time journaling and praying through what God has reclaimed and what He’s asking you to release Step 3: If you’re ready for deeper spiritual growth, healing, and mentorship, explore coaching and resources at  ChristiRatcliff.com   As we step into 2026, may this be our prayer: “Lord, my life is Yours. 27 | The Power of Confession — Healing Through Bringing It Into the Light

There is a deep kind of healing that begins the moment truth meets light. So many women carry silent battles, shame, fear, habits they can’t shake, and wounds that feel too heavy to name. Confession is not about punishment or spiritual performance. It is spiritual warfare. A holy act of breaking agreement with darkness and partnering with God for healing, renewal, and freedom. When we speak truth out loud before God, the enemy loses his foothold. Shame loses its grip, and our hearts begin to heal in the light of His presence. In this episode of The Reclaimed Woman Podcast, I’m talking about the power of confession and why bringing things into the light breaks spiritual bondage and emotional strongholds. Confession isn’t about guilt, it’s about alignment, clarity, healing, and spiritual authority. We walk through Scripture together and talk about: • How confession breaks agreement with darkness • Why secrecy keeps us stuck in shame, fear, and repeating patterns • How confession removes spiritual footholds the enemy uses against us • Why confession must be spoken, not only thought • The difference between conviction and condemnation • How confession leads our hearts into healing, restoration, and freedom in Christ I also share from my own journey of healing financial and emotional patterns, and how confessing the truth to God out loud helped break cycles rooted in fear, pride, and self-protection. This conversation is filled with biblical truth, real-life context, and gentle guidance so you can confidently bring your truth into the light and experience real spiritual transformation. 26 | Breaking the Patterns — Healing Cycles, Habits, and Generational Wounds

Some patterns don’t feel dramatic. They feel familiar. You’ve tried to change them before, but they keep showing up anyway. You love God, you want freedom, and yet certain cycles still have a grip on your heart. You may recognize this if: You keep reacting the same way, even after praying for change You’ve broken habits before, but they somehow return You’re doing “all the right things,” yet something underneath still feels stuck In this episode of The Reclaimed Woman Podcast, I’m talking about what it really takes to break destructive patterns, heal recurring cycles, and confront generational wounds through the power of the Holy Spirit. So much of healing isn’t just about the original wound, it’s about the patterns that wound created. The emotional reactions we default to. The habits we fall back into. The ways we cope, avoid, control, or self-protect when life feels unsafe. I share why these cycles repeat, even when you love God and genuinely want to change, and why willpower alone can never bring lasting freedom. We spend time in Romans 7, where Paul names the internal battle so many women feel but rarely say out loud, the tension between the Spirit and the flesh, between who we are becoming and the old patterns that still try to pull us back. This isn’t weakness or lack of faith. It’s a spiritual war, and it requires a spiritual solution. If you’ve been asking God why the cycle keeps showing up, this conversation will help you see what’s underneath it and how freedom actually begins.   Scripture Referenced: Romans 7:15–25 John 8:36 Psalm 139:23–24 2 Corinthians 10:5 Romans 12:2 Galatians 5:16 Exodus 20:6 Related Episode: Episode 24 — Healing the Hidden Wounds — Letting the Holy Spirit Into the Hard Places Coaching & Support: Christian coaching for women ready to break cycles and walk in freedom Visit: ChristiRatcliff.com/coaching Connect with Christi Ratcliff: Website & Podcast: https://ChristiRatcliff.com Instagram: @christi_ratcliff_coaching Next Steps Step 1: Choose one pattern that keeps repeating in your life this week. 25 | A Reclaimed Christmas: Mary or Martha? Choosing Presence Over Performance This Christmas

The Christmas season often arrives with beauty and pressure all at the same time. Many women carry the emotional, financial, and relational weight of making Christmas “work” for everyone else. What begins as love and service can quietly turn into striving, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and exhaustion. Leaving little room for peace, presence, or rest with Christ. This episode speaks directly to the woman who gives deeply… and is tired.   In this special Christmas episode of The Reclaimed Woman Podcast, I’m inviting you to slow down with me and take an honest look at what this season is stirring in your heart. Using the story of Mary and Martha from Luke 10:38–42, I talk about something many of us don’t always name how easily Christmas can turn into a performance. We want it to be meaningful. We want everyone to feel loved. But somewhere along the way, service can slip into striving, and joy can get buried under pressure. I share what a Martha spirit often looks like today. Over-functioning, people-pleasing, overspending, and carrying the emotional weight of everyone else’s expectations. And then I gently contrast that with the posture of Mary, a woman who chose presence over perfection and peace over pressure. This conversation is especially for the woman who: Feels responsible for making Christmas “work” for everyone Is exhausted by expectations, traditions, and financial strain Struggles with perfectionism, approval, or fear of disappointing others Longs for a calmer, Christ-centered Christmas I remind you that Jesus never asked for perfect homes, flawless traditions, or exhausted women. He came for surrendered hearts. Together, we talk about what it looks like to serve from peace, to embrace simplicity, to set boundaries without guilt, and to receive Christmas as the gift it was always meant to be. The heart of this episode is simple: Christmas was never meant to be perfected through performance. It was meant to be received through presence.   Scripture Reference: Luke 10:38–42 (NIV) — Mary and Martha Next Steps for Listeners Step 1: Share this episode with a woman who may be carrying the weight of Christmas behind the scenes. Step 2: Choose one Mary moment each day this week, whether that’s sitting quietly with the Lord, simplifying a tradition, staying within your budget, or saying no without guilt. 24 | Healing the Hidden Wounds — Letting the Holy Spirit Into the Hard Places

Are you carrying wounds you’ve learned to function around, even though they still shape how you think, react, and protect yourself? Have you ever wondered why certain patterns keep repeating emotionally, spiritually, or even financially no matter how hard you try to change? Do you feel like there are parts of your heart you’ve kept off-limits, even to God, because reopening them feels too painful or too messy?   In this episode, I’m sharing how hidden wounds shape our beliefs, behavior, relationships, and legacy and how the Holy Spirit gently reveals those buried places so real healing can begin. We talk about why hidden wounds stay hidden, how the Spirit exposes truth without shame, and why surrender is where transformation starts. You’ll hear a personal story from my own journey with a “poverty wound” and how the Lord used something as simple and faith-stretching as tithing to begin healing the root and not just the symptoms. This conversation is for the woman longing for inner healing, emotional freedom, spiritual growth, and Holy Spirit–led restoration. If you’re ready to stop hiding the hard places and let the Holy Spirit rewrite your story, this episode will meet you right where you are.   Explore Coaching: Work with me through Spirit-Led Christian Life Coaching → ChristiRatcliff.com Related Episodes: • Episode 23: Rest, Renewal, and Revelation — Partnering with the Holy Spirit for Inner Healing and Legacy   Next Steps Step 1: Join our community of women pursuing Spirit-led healing and whole-hearted living: → The Reclaimed Woman Community Step 2: For more encouragement and practical tools for healing and spiritual growth, visit ChristiRatcliff.com for resources designed to support your journey.   Connect with Me 📩 Contact: [email protected] 🎧 Podcast: The Reclaimed Woman 💬 Connect: Join The Reclaimed Woman Community on Facebook 📸 Instagram: @christi_ratcliff_coaching 🌿 Resources: www.christiratcliff.com

22 | You Are a Daughter with Authority — Understanding Your Position in Christ

So many women walk through life carrying weight they were never meant to hold, trying to be strong, trying to push through, trying to “make it work,” all while forgetting the truth of who they are in Christ. This episode is your reminder that you are not powerless, not overlooked, and definitely not living at the mercy of your circumstances. You’ve been given spiritual authority, real identity, and a position with Christ, and it changes everything. In this episode, I’m sharing what it truly means to walk as a daughter of God with spiritual authority, so you can stop shrinking back, stop praying from a place of fear, and start living from the identity Christ already gave you. We talk about identity vs. authority, how Scripture defines your spiritual position, what “daughter living” looks like in real life, and how to stand firm when you feel small or overwhelmed. You’ll walk away grounded, encouraged, and equipped to pray boldly, speak truth, and live from the victory you already share with Jesus.   ✨ Coaching: Christian Life Coaching  - www.ChristiRatcliff.com/coaching ✨ Scripture References: Matthew 28:18–19 Luke 10:19 Ephesians 2:6 Romans 8:15 Galatians 4:6–7 John 14:18 Ephesians 6:10–17 2 Corinthians 12:9   ✨ Related Episodes: Breaking Agreement with Fear   Work With Me Contact: [email protected] Podcast: The Reclaimed Woman Connect: Join The Reclaimed Woman Community on Facebook Instagram: @christi_ratcliff_coaching Resources: www.christiratcliff.com

21 | Fear Is a Liar, But You’ve Been Listening — Breaking Agreement with Fear

🌿 Fear Is a Liar… But You Don’t Have to Keep Listening I’ve been teaching a lot lately on fear, faith, and spiritual authority, and today I want to speak straight to the lie that’s been trying to run your life. Here’s the truth: Fear is a spirit that thrives on agreement. And many times, we don’t even realize we’ve been agreeing with it. Every “I’m not capable.” Every “I’m not safe.” Every “It’s always been this way.” Those aren’t just thoughts, they’re contracts. But what you agreed with… you can break. God did not call you to live small, scared, or stuck. Romans 8:15 tells us you’re not a slave to fear, you’re a daughter of God. John 8:32 reminds us it’s the truth that sets you free. And 2 Timothy 1:7 declares that you’ve been given power, love, and a sound mind. Fear is loud. But truth is louder,  when you speak it. This is where the shift happens: ✨ Recognize the lie. ✨ Bring it to Jesus. ✨ Speak truth out loud — not just in your mind. ✨ Break the agreement. ✨ Walk in freedom. This isn’t hype. It’s spiritual authority. You are allowed to stop letting fear drive your decisions. If you’re ready to take a bold step this week, try this: 👉 Write down the lie you’ve been believing. 👉 Ask God where it started — trauma, upbringing, or generational patterns. 👉 Forgive the person attached to the wound. 👉 And speak this: “In Jesus’ name, I break agreement with fear. I choose truth, freedom, and Jesus.” If today hit your heart, you’re not alone. Share this with a friend who’s ready to walk in truth too. And if you want to go deeper into breaking lies, renewing your mind, and stepping into your God-given authority, visit ChristiRatcliff.com/coaching, I’d love to walk with you. Daughter, fear is a liar. And you don’t have to listen anymore. 💛   🌿 Connect with Me If today’s episode stirred something in you, I’d love to walk alongside you as your coach. 20 | Faith and Fear Can’t Share the Same Seat

Fear doesn’t always show up loud. Sometimes it slips in quietly, wrapped in “logic” or “timing,” convincing you to stay comfortable instead of stepping out in faith. But here’s what I’ve learned. Comfort doesn’t grow your calling. Faith and fear can’t share the same seat. One will always take the lead. So let’s get honest today… which one has been driving your decisions?   In this episode, I’m kicking off a brand-new series called Faith, Fear, and Spiritual Authority,  and this one’s close to my heart. Because I’ve been there… letting fear talk me out of what God already told me to do. We’re diving into what it really means to walk in the authority Christ has already given you,  authority to stand firm in truth, silence the lies of fear, and move forward in bold faith. I’ll share how fear often disguises itself as wisdom or “just being cautious,” but underneath it all, it’s still disobedience dressed up nice. We’ll talk about how to recognize those subtle voices that make you hesitate, how to shift your focus back to God’s promises, and how to strengthen your faith through His Word. This is your reminder that you can walk in confidence, not because you’ve got it all figured out, but because God is with you in every step of obedience. So many of us sit on the sidelines, waiting for the perfect plan or a formal invitation to serve. But friend, when God gives you a gift, He’s already given you permission to use it. You don’t need a title or a platform,  you just need to say yes. 18 | It’s Not About You — Using Your Gift to Serve, Not Perform

Let’s be honest, sometimes using our spiritual gifts can start to feel more like pressure than purpose. Maybe you’ve felt that quiet urge to prove yourself, to be seen, or to measure your worth by how people respond. But what if it’s not about being noticed at all? What if God is more concerned with the posture of your heart than the size of your platform? In this episode of The Reclaimed Woman, I’m talking about the difference between serving with your gift and performing with it, because how we use our gift matters just as much as discovering what it is. We’ll look at what Scripture says about the purpose of spiritual gifts, the warning signs of performance, and how to realign our hearts toward humility, surrender, and obedience.   This is your heart check moment: 👉 Your gift is not your identity. It’s your assignment. 👉 Surrendered gifts bear fruit. 👉 Performed gifts produce pressure.   If you’ve ever wrestled with comparison, burnout, or the need for affirmation, this episode will help you come back to the posture Jesus modeled, washing feet, not chasing platforms.   📖 Scriptures Mentioned: 1 Peter 4:11 Romans 12:6–8 1 Corinthians 12:4–10, 27–31 Ephesians 4:11–12 John 15:5 Galatians 5:13 John 13:13–14   📝 Journal Reflection Prompts: Where have I slipped into performing rather than serving? 17 | Discerning Your Gift: How Do I Know What My Gift Is? Discerning Your Unique Spiritual Wiring

In this episode of The Reclaimed Woman Podcast, I’m walking you through how to discern your spiritual gift, not by comparing yourself to others or striving to earn it, but by learning to notice the Holy Spirit’s patterns of joy, fruit, confirmation, and gentle prompting in your life. We’ll look at what Scripture says about gifts like wisdom, faith, teaching, discernment, leadership, and mercy,  and how those gifts often show up in your everyday walk with God. I want you to see that spiritual gifts aren’t some hidden mystery or “super-spiritual” thing,  they’re practical expressions of God’s grace meant to build up His Church. If you’ve ever wondered where God wants to use you, this episode will help you recognize what He’s already doing in and through you. 💡 You’ll walk away with tools to discern your gift, the confidence to step boldly into your calling, and a renewed sense of purpose in how you serve others.   📖 Scriptures + Key Takeaways 1 Peter 4:10_ “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” Spiritual gifts are given by the Spirit, not earned. Joy and fruit reveal where God is working through you. Confirmation often comes through the Body of Christ. Assessments can guide you,  but only the Spirit defines your gift.   🪞 Reflection What lights you up when you serve others? Where do you consistently see fruit and favor? 16 | You Are Gifted — Understanding What Spiritual Gifts Actually Are

There’s a quiet battle happening in so many women’s hearts right now. We scroll through social media, see someone else’s platform, and start wondering if what we bring to the table even matters. We compare, we question, and sometimes, we shrink back,  waiting until we “get it all together” before we step into what God’s called us to do. But here’s the truth: you are already gifted. Not because you earned it, not because you’re perfect,  but because the Holy Spirit chose you, on purpose, for a purpose. And the enemy would love nothing more than to keep you doubting that. In this episode, I’m helping you get a clear, biblical understanding of what spiritual gifts actually are,  and what they’re not. We’re walking through 1 Corinthians 12, Romans 12, and Ephesians 4 to uncover four of the most common lies women believe about their gifts and the truth that sets us free.   This conversation is for every woman who’s ever felt unseen, overlooked, or unsure of where she fits in the Body of Christ. 💡 Key Takeaways You don’t earn your gift — it’s given by grace. Every believer has a spiritual gift. Yes, that includes you. Your gift isn’t about perfection; it’s about obedience. Spiritual gifts are meant for service, not self-promotion. God arranged you in the Body of Christ on purpose.   📖 Scripture Anchors 1 Corinthians 12:4–7 Romans 12:6 Ephesians 4:11–12 These passages will be our anchors over the next few episodes as we take a deeper dive into how spiritual gifts work together in the Body of Christ.   📝 Reflection & Invitation Take a few minutes this week to sit with the Lord and journal: What are my spiritual gifts? What lies have I believed about them? What truth does God’s Word say about me? And as you do, remember this: you are gifted, not for your glory, but for God’s.   🌱 Let’s Keep Growing Together If today’s episode stirred something in you, I’d love to walk alongside you as your coach. 15 | Christian Turning Point from Cowardice to Courage

These past weeks have been some of the hardest for believers. The assassination of Charlie Kirk shook our nation. In Michigan, a church was burned to the ground. In Nigeria, brothers and sisters in Christ continue to suffer relentless persecution. These events aren’t just headlines, they confront us with a sobering question: What does it really mean to follow Jesus when the cost is this high? In this episode, I open Mark 8:31–9:1 and ask the hard but necessary question: Is Jesus worth dying for? Together, we’ll talk about what it looks like to move from fear to faith, from silence to boldness, and from comfort to carrying the cross. If you’ve felt the tension of standing for Christ in a culture that finds His Word offensive, this conversation is for you. My prayer is that you’ll walk away challenged, strengthened, and reminded that in Christ, there is no such thing as a cowardly Christian, only courageous conquerors who endure for the sake of the Gospel.   Next Steps: Share this episode with a friend who needs encouragement to stand strong in their faith. 13 | Passions and Gifts: How God Shapes You for His Purpose

So many women long to know what their purpose really is, but often get caught up in chasing passions the world says will make them happy. The truth is, your gifts and passions were never meant to glorify you, they were designed to glorify God. When surrendered to Him, even the smallest skill or deepest desire can become a powerful tool for His kingdom. In this episode, I’m sharing how God weaves your passions, natural talents, and spiritual gifts into His greater plan for your life. We’ll look at biblical examples like Bezalel, David, and Paul to see how God shapes and redeems gifts for His glory. I’ll also share some of my own story of how God shaped my love for words, counsel, and guidance into a calling I never expected. You’ll learn the difference between natural talents vs. spiritual gifts, how to discern which passions are God-given, and how the enemy tries to twist your gifts for self instead of service. My prayer is that you walk away encouraged, knowing that nothing in your design is wasted, God has uniquely equipped you for His purpose.   👉 Learn more about coaching: www.christiratcliff.com/coaching   👉 Related Episodes: Episode 11: Patterns of Pain: How God Redeems Your Suffering Episode 12: Patterns of Purpose: How God Uses Your Story Connect with Me  📧 Contact → [email protected] 🎙️ Podcast → The Reclaimed Woman Podcast 📸 Instagram → @christi_ratcliff_coaching 🌐 Coaching → www.christiratcliff.com/coaching Next Steps: Spend time writing out your passions and gifts this week. What if the very places of pain in your life are not detours, but the very pathway God is using to draw you closer to Him? Pain isn’t pointless, it’s purposeful. In this episode of The Reclaimed Woman Podcast, I’m sharing how God redeems suffering, restores broken places, and uses your struggles to deepen your spiritual growth. Through the stories of Joseph, Job, and Paul, we’ll see how their struggles were redeemed for God’s glory. From unexpected opportunities to repeated struggles, the threads in your story may be revealing more than you realize. In today’s episode, I’m kicking off a brand-new series called Patterns of Purpose. We’re talking about the difference between your eternal purpose (to glorify God in all things) and your unique calling (the specific ways you live that out in different seasons of life). I’ll share part of my own story, along with examples from Scripture, Joseph, Esther, and Paul, to show how God uses patterns, gifts, and even hardships to point us back to His plan. And I’ll give you practical steps for beginning your own Pattern Journal so you can start recognizing how God is at work in your life. ✨ In this episode, you’ll learn: The difference between purpose and calling in the Christian life How to recognize patterns God may be using to guide your steps Why nothing in your story is wasted—not even pain The enemy’s counterfeit lies vs. God’s truth about your calling A simple practice to start uncovering your God-given design Friend, your life is not random. You were created on purpose, for a purpose. Ephesians 2:10 reminds us that “we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand.” If you’ve been longing for clarity in your calling and want to uncover the patterns God has already woven into your story, this conversation will equip you to take your next step with confidence. 👉 Ready to go deeper? 10 | Renewing Your Mind is a Daily Practice, Not a One-Time Fix

What if transformation isn’t about speed, but about rhythm? So many Christian women feel frustrated when change doesn’t come overnight. But the truth is, real spiritual growth and mind renewal come through daily surrender, consistent devotion, and the power of the Holy Spirit at work in you. In this episode, I’m wrapping up our Break the Pattern , Renew the Mind series with a truth that’s not flashy but absolutely foundational: consistency. Renewing your mind isn’t about a one-time revelation or a spiritual quick fix, it’s about daily rhythm. I talk about why “microwave faith” won’t last, and how God grows us through steady, faithful steps over time. I’ll walk you through simple, practical rhythms you can build into your life: Scripture before screens, speaking truth out loud, journaling the battle, worshiping even when it feels foggy, and inviting the Holy Spirit into your every day. I’ll also share how these habits have shaped my own walk with God and why sanctification is less about sprinting and more about staying the course. If you’ve been longing for deep transformation but feel stuck in a cycle of quick starts and slow fades, this conversation will remind you that God’s not asking for perfection, He’s asking for your daily surrender.   Scriptures Mentioned: Psalm 37:23 Matthew 13:20–21 John 14:16–17 Romans 12:2 Psalm 32:8 Romans 8:29   Friend, you don’t have to walk this journey alone. You’ll learn how to spot lies as they come, replace them with God’s truth, and begin living from the identity He has already spoken over you. Have you been hiding in the shadows, afraid to step into your calling? Do you wonder if being bold as a woman of faith means being loud or rebellious? I talk about what true boldness looks like for women of faith, not being loud or bossy, but listening to God, obeying even when it’s hard, and showing up where He’s placed us. 04 | Walking In The Will of God

In this episode, I’m sharing what it really looked like to obey God in everyday moments, especially when it meant disappointing people I love. I talk through three specific stories where I had to choose obedience over approval, from saying no, setting boundaries, and stepping away from a church role I loved. This is for the woman who’s been doing all the right things but feels burnt out, bitter, or buried under the weight of people pleasing. I’ll walk you through five big things God taught me during that season and how you can begin walking in His will with peace and boldness, even if your knees are shaking.    Resources  Elisabeth Elliot quote: “Only one thing can prevent you from doing the will of God, and that’s your will.”     Follow along on Instagram for encouragement and behind-the-scenes content at christi_ratcliff_coaching and subscribe to The Reclaimed Woman Podcast so you never miss an episode.     🔗 Sign up now: Christi Ratcliff Coaching  Work With Me.
