The narrative of Bill Gates was recounted, highlighting his residence conveniently close to the University of Washington. This proximity granted him access to a computer and the invaluable opportunity to engage in extensive practice. This extended practice over a significant period eventually culminated in the accumulation of the requisite 10,000 hours required for him to achieve mastery in computer programming. A similar tale is spun by Cristiano Ronaldo. His journey began in 1997 with Sporting CP Team B, and he seized his first FIFA Best Player award in 2008. That's nearly a decade—a familiar theme, underscoring the time it takes to ascend from novice to mastery in football. This principle resounds across arenas—from hockey and cricket to music, academia, and even religion. So, if this wisdom holds true, why relent when you're merely two years into your pursuit? You venture into the tech realm, take a few Udemy courses, watch some YouTube tutorials, and anticipate a high-paying job within moments. When that eludes you, you then quit. That’s a joke! You quit after a few months? Consider your coding hours, and tally your years in business. Why abandon ship after just two years due to sluggish sales? Do you genuinely believe you've mastered your niche in such a fleeting time? Not quite! Understand this fundamental truth: mastery demands a shit load of learning time.
