#15 - Throat Chakra

from BuildLifeBalance Hosted by Angie Erickson

The Throat or Vishuddha Chakra is located at the base of throat. It's our center for communication and self expression. When the throat chakra is out of alignment, you will most likely find it difficult to express yourself creatively and freely or you may even feel depressed or anxious. When this chakra is in alignment, you'll find it easy to speak your personal truth and express yourself unapologetically. You'll speak confidently and listen just as well. You'll most likely be tapped into your self confidence and experience your own unique creative flow. 3 Ways To Balance The Throat Chakra: 1. Express Yourself: Finding a way to express yourself is a great way to tap into the energy of the throat chakra. Singing or even just humming can open the energies and help you too connect with your unique self expression. 2. Stretch Your Neck: Stretching your neck will help to loosen up any stagnant energies that have built up in the throat chakra, helping to move out the old and make room for new, free-flowing energy. 3. Asanas + These Affirmations: Practicing Cat/Cow or Fish pose can help to open the physical space of your throat chakra. Repeating these affirmations while in these asanas is the perfect combo to reprogram your throat chakra to work with you instead of against you.
