15: What Causes Endometriosis?

Episode updated 4/2022. What causes endometriosis? No one knows, but there are various theories. What we do know is that multiple studies have shown that there's many cases of endometriosis where it would be impossible for retrograde menstruation to be the cause, but still ineffective "treatments" for endometriosis are based on this never proven, 100 year old theory, causing ongoing harm to us patients!
