150. Healing The 3 Feminine Wounds

from Tend HER Wild Podcast

In today’s episode Kate and Betsy discuss how hope is all about taking action, but sometimes women find themselves unable to say the words, take the risk, or move forward because of old wounding.  We cover 3 feminine wounds that are almost ubiquitous among women: the sister wound, the witch wound, and the mother wound. In today’s episode we discuss:  The sister wound: when we view other women as our enemy which prevents close connection with women. The witch wound: when we fear showing our intuition, healing skills, or deep knowing for fear of other’s judgment or other forms or retribution. The mother wound: when we had emotional or physical neglect as a child or maternal absence because our mother was unable to provide the support we needed (often through no fault of her own). Both Betsy and Kate talked about experiences in the past week where they were in multi-generational women circles and saw these wounds playing out in front of them. How to heal from these wounds, which include acknowledging they exist, doing the inner work, and being in circle/community with other women.
