Her older sister was the golden child and her brother was the exceptional younger child. Her siblings seemed to excel at life and yet nobody placed any expectation on Christina who was struggling with undiagnosed ADHD. Christina's family were deep into the church and believed following all the rules made them good people. Meanwhile Christina felt like a prisoner inside her own head. Even her thoughts felt unsafe in a religious environment where there were rules around what you were allowed to think.
